Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Michael R Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I am converting several Forums to Clubs. Is it possible to create a Club and assign a different Owner? I don't want to be the "Owner" for all these Clubs. I guess I can editing them later, but would be nice to do it on the creation.
opentype Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 It can’t be done on creation, just like you can’t write a forum post in someone else’s name if you logged in with your admin account. You can change the owner in the ACP after creation.
Meddysong Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Couldn't he sign in as a particular member from the ACP and then create a Club on the front?
opentype Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Sure, but that doesn’t really simplify the process.
Meddysong Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I'd find it quicker, I think. Mind you, I only have a handful of members to scroll through! Edit: Oh, hang on -- I'm missing the point. These forums already exist; he's not creating them anyway. Ignore me!

You can create it and change the owner right after in the public side using the Change Owner feature of my plugin, which you have.
