Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Janyour Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Hello, how to move users with X points to a higher level membership ? In groups options promotion is based on content number, not all users with bigger topics and blabla are the best, a ratio should be add, user with 10 content and 10 points (likes) are better then users with 1000 topics and 2 likes.
Janyour Posted January 29, 2017 Author Posted January 29, 2017 Thanks adriano, looks interesting but its more relevant to have a ratio (number of content / number of likes), we have both numbers we can calculate it! members should have a ratio greater then 50% to be promoted for example (members who have 1000 topics should have 500 likes and whos with 10 should have 5 likes)
Adriano Faria Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Not a feature. You better post as a suggestion in Feedback forum.

If you're looking for advanced membergroup options, you can probably use Automation Rules by @Kevin Carwile. However, there is no ratio in IPS vanilla or in any Marketplace plugins (that i'm aware).
Stuart Silvester Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 You can use group promotion based on reputation points, you can enable it in AdminCP > Groups > 'Edit group' > Select ' reputation points' in the Group Promotion select box.
