Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Nathan Explosion Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Could you pop up a screenshot of your Friendly URLs configuration? (ie the one that indicates what options you have enabled, not the list of urls)
Nathan Explosion Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Can you enable 'Rewrite URLs' and put the .htaccess file in place on the server? Just working on a hunch at the moment.
Management Matt Posted December 23, 2016 Management Posted December 23, 2016 Hi, I get "There was an error processing your login request at one of the sites in our network." which does look like an issue with your SSO.
Nathan Explosion Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 OK - hunch didn't work out, but let's simplify the issue and take it away from that drop down not disappearing. Go to http://ns3057235.ip-213-32-27.eu/forum/login and attempt to sign in. It accepts the credentials (ie form submits) but the user appears to not be logged in because it continues to request login credentials. But go to http://ns3057235.ip-213-32-27.eu/forum and the user is logged in. If there is nothing coming up in the IPS logs for this then you're going to need to look at your server logs for that login action happening. Is ns3057235.ip-213-32-27 your site's real url or not? Also do you have it linked, via ipsconnect, to another domain?
Jibeji Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 There is no SSO configured. (I'd like to but it doesn't work, it's another story)
Jibeji Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 The forum runs in standalone mode on it's real URL (it's a sandbox) I can't see anything wrong in the log files. Adlago Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 This login is IPS Connect - not Standart Edit your IPS Connect and remove " Master IPS Connect URL and Key"
Jibeji Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 Adlago, Not sure to understand. IPS Connect is disabled in the Login Handlers section. I can't see how to remove "Master IPS Connect URL and Key".
Jibeji Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 I forgot to mention, these fields are empty.
Adlago Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Open your SQL Toolbox and Run Query SELECT * FROM core_login_handlers screen this and post here
Adlago Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Internal has to be {"auth_types":"3"} External {"sql_host":"","sql_user":"","sql_pass":"","sql_database":"","sql_port":0,"sql_socket":"","db_table":"","db_col_user":"","db_col_email":"","db_col_pass":"","db_encryption":"plaintext","db_extra":"","auth_types":"3"} LDAP {"server_protocol":"3","server_host":"","server_port":0,"opt_referrals":false,"server_user":"","server_pass":"","base_dn":"","uid_field":"","email_field":"","un_suffix":"","pw_required":true,"filter":""} Log in server CP phpMyAdmin Open and edit your table "core_login_handlers"
Jibeji Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 I have changed the values, but the behavior is the same.
Adlago Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 remove cache and all file directory 'datastore'
Jibeji Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 The more surprising is that I have upgraded 5 times from IPB 3.4 to 4.1.17, on 2 different servers, and always had that issue. On the same servers, a fresh install works well (but I can't lose 5 years of data) There should be a mess somewhere in the database.
Adlago Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Open SQL Toolbox SELECT * FROM core_sys_conf_settings find ... 18 connect_slaves - It must have value '0'
Jibeji Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 YOU GOT IT !!!!!!!!! Thank you so much Adlago, thank you, thank you, thank you ! I will try know to restart the upgrade from the beginning and just change the different values you mentionned in the database.
