Bazilisk Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Is it possible? I need blogs.mysite.com or better customernameblog.mysite.com
Philooo Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Same request ... On my website, blogs access is something like that : http://www.mywebsite.com/forums/blogs/blog-name I would appreciate an access like htttp://blog-name/mywebsite.com Any idea ?
Joel R Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 You can try Advanced Path Aliases by @Kevin Carwile from the IPS Marketplace:
Meddysong Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Nope, you can't use a single licence with subdomains. If you're adamant you want blog.domain.com, gallery.domain.com, then you have to buy several licences and have different installations in your main domain and in the various subdomains.
Joy Rex Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Couldn't you use something like MOD_REWRITE to accomplish this? Turn http://website.com/blogs into http://blogs.website.com ? Here's a way to do it with .htaccess: http://beginnersbook.com/2013/08/redirecting-from-subdirectory-to-subdomain-using-htaccess/
