Better visibility for attached files

As of now visibility of attached files is pretty poor.

Please compare following screenshots. The first one is from IPB and the second one from XebForo.

I'm wondering why to even bother to post in " Product Feedback " since there is no single reply.

What is this feedback for?

It's hard for the staff to get to every single post to reply. It's likely very challenging for them to prioritize all the great requests that come through.

For whatever it's worth I agree that the xebforo attachment looks better with regard to formatting.

They have stated that they read all feedback earlier, I believe. You'll just have to trust them that they actually do. They don't necessarily to all ideas though. 

As for your specific feedback I don't feel very strongly about it. I think it would made sense for IPS to implement it, but someone would likely be able to make a plugin for it too.

For what it's worth, I agree that IPS needs to improve how attachments are displayed.

I don't think we need to create whole plugin to make rather obvious cosmetic change.

Further, it would be great if when I attach an image and don't embed it into the content, it should stay in the attachments corner and displays under the content, not automatically attach it at the end of the topic.

I preffer the auto embed for images attached, but would be nice if there is an option to change this behavior if the poster doesn't want the auto embed, like pasting content embed.
