ProSkill Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I am looking for a way to implement the Google translate plugin into my site. My forum is multilingual and I need a way for users to easily translate text. Language packs change the navigation text, but do nothing for the post content. I am of course willing to pay for this. This is the plugin I am referring to: https://support.google.com/translate/answer/2534601?hl=en
DawPi Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I have great mod for 3.x, but bor 4.x I can do it also. PM me for more details.

Nathan Explosion Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 If you have Pages, create a custom manual html block and paste the code from the google translate site in, then position it on the front end. If you don't have Pages, then install this: Create a block on the front-end, and paste in the code that the google translate code page provides you. Simple as that.
JwilsonVW Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 @Nathan Explosion Thank you for this! However, it only seems to translate a single page, namely the home page, and if i click through to a topic or activity stream for instance, it reverts back to English. Is there a way to get this to apply to anything within my forum domain and not just a specific page? Edit: I noticed that if I add that custom block to other pages than the home page, they begin translating as expected and the chosen translation is passed from page to page without requiring the user to pick it again. That should handle it!
