Hi,

Till now we are using PHP sessions by files. I've read that handling those by Memcached could speed up our server.

Is it worth to change?

Is it safe for IPB environmnet to have PHP Sessions in Memcached?

Any experience?

 

We are using nginx/fpm-php/memcached/mysql

i dunno, but im using redis =)

Yes it will help but it will not make a huge improvement

Then if memcached is restarted all sessions of users will be gone ....
