In an effort to give it some more love, I was pondering what would it be like to borrow some of the features and capabilities of Slack an implement those into IP.Chat and the IP.Suite Features that would work well: General layout - Left sidebar with channels, DMs, groups, etc. Main window with chat. @Mentions (already implemented in forums) for users & groups. #channel mentions. Chat statuses (afk, active, offline) Automated responses (slackbot-esque) Word/ name highlighting Temporary Attachments (File sharing) Just an idea, postive / negative feedback away.
