wohali Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Deck the halls with lots of twinkle lights, fa la la.... Christmas Lights has been updated to 1.2.0! It now works properly with IPS 4.4. Happy holidays! Square Wheels, The Old Man, Daniel F and 1 other 2 1 1
esejek Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 (edited) Hello, Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my forum (4.4.8). Can i contact you somehow for help? Edit: It works only on one of my themes, though it doesn't on the most used one 😕 Edited December 12, 2019 by SimplyCS
wohali Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Hi SimplyCS, Does it work on your forum on the Default theme? I can't support custom themes at this time for this theme. I know that it should work with an IPS Focus purchased theme.
Kingz Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 (edited) Hi, I'd like to draw your attention to an issue with the Lights displaying incorrectly as they are not centered/ missing on the right hand side of the desktop screen. Please could you fix this? Edit: Afer some investigation the lights seem to just not be centered and instead allow the user to scroll horizontally to the right to see the rest of the lights. Thanks 🙂 Edited December 15, 2019 by lostking329 New Update

Is there a way to fix it somehow to make it work on custom theme? 😕 Regards.
wohali Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 @lostking329 Glad it works for you :) @SimplyCS I can't add support for every custom theme...you'll have to look at how it inserts itself into the standard theme, and modify your theme to make it work. Sorry...
Kingz Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 @wohali is there anyway for you to center the lights in a new update?
wohali Posted December 17, 2019 Author Posted December 17, 2019 @lostking329 It will depend on the theme, and they position correctly in the default theme. You should look at where the lights are being injected first into your theme, and see if you can't centre the div yourself. Not everyone will want centering on the lights div, so I'm not sure it's the right thing to do for everyone. I'm about to be offline for over a week and am not really in the position to push out a potentially broken update at the moment.
Kingz Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 @wohali I have tried editting the CSS for it and by centering it or trying to put it to the left of the screen thinking it would start from the left of the screen to the right doesn't seem to work, any ideas?
wohali Posted January 11, 2020 Author Posted January 11, 2020 @lostking329 Sorry, I can't really provide support for custom theme on this plugin. You may do best to ask the developer of the theme for assistance.
Square Wheels Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Will this be made compatible for 4.5? Thank you
wohali Posted August 24, 2020 Author Posted August 24, 2020 Yes, it is planned, prior to December 1. endgrp and Square Wheels 2
wohali Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 I've submitted the new version of this, with 4.5 support tagged, today. Given the US holiday I expect this to be available next week. If anyone needs it sooner, please PM me. Square Wheels 1
AlexJ Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Hello, I added on our site and I don't get the lights in default theme. Anything wrong, i am doing?
wohali Posted December 9, 2020 Author Posted December 9, 2020 Did you enable the plugin? If you go to edit the plugin's settings, did you enable them there as well? And select that it's enabled on the Default theme at the bottom?
RocketStang Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 (edited) I was messing around with this plugin but I can't seem to get any sound effects on Firefox...it does seem to work OK on Microsoft Edge and Chrome even though the plugin says no Chrome support. Any ideas? Edited December 19, 2020 by RocketStang
