Posted October 27, 20159 yr After upgrade to 4.1 I recieved an error 500 on www.4metin2.com I use centos webpanel for vps and I fixed permission ... what is problem ?
October 27, 20159 yr You're going to need to fix the permissions: User Accounts > Fix Permissions I use that for my Dev Box but I'm not sure I would use it in a production environment. There are a bunch of better panels out there. You might want to check out OVH they have VPS and dedicated plans with cpanel included.
October 27, 20159 yr The 500 error is probably related to an .htaccess file. Try renaming the htaccess file in the directory and see what happens. You should also check the logs to see what's the error if you can't figure it out. Also try rebuilding the vhosts Apache Settings > Rebuild Virtual Hosts
October 27, 20159 yr I wish I could be more help. I would try and check your logs to see what's happening.
October 27, 20159 yr The "Fix Permissions" is the reason I would never use Centos Webpanel in a production environment. It messes things up. I would restore everything from your backup and try to upgrade again.
October 27, 20159 yr Just now, Stirbu Daniel said: I don't have a backup ... In ACP, run the tool in Support and disable some apps & hooks. Might be the main cause.
October 27, 20159 yr Do what David said and start disabling apps to figure out what is causing the problem.

October 27, 20159 yr Author I think as that is problem but now nor ACP don't work ... I think that the upgrader has installed and others applications who I don't buy (eg Nexus)
October 27, 20159 yr If your ACP was working before, it's probably not IPS, but more likely Centos Webpanel. Like I mentioned before, I use Centos Webpanel for my dev box and it will mess up sites when you do the Fix Permissions. Use something like Filezilla and look through the files on your server - especially the htaccess files. Make sure the permissions are correct and change anything that isn't correct. You might also want to delete the cache files manually.
October 27, 20159 yr Author ACP problem was from init.php because I changed admin with name of mine admin directory and when I changed again I deleted an ', now show totally different 500 error.
October 27, 20159 yr You've never setup a web server on your own? It's neat you get to control EVERYTHING!
October 27, 20159 yr Author Isn't is your problem if I have or not in past another server, I want to solve this problem with upgrade.
October 27, 20159 yr Maybe this topic will help: https://community.invisionpower.com/topic/421992-upgrade-41-500-error/
