for me this is concerning as if they are managing to bypass any spam settings then not worth my upgrading to IPB 4 until this has been resolved somehow (must be something in IPB 4 that is making it easier to post spam than it was in IPB 3)

Perhaps a reply from staff if I am correct or not would be nice ?

If the spammer is from India maybe we better ask him to code a decent ant-spam solution and when he is at it can fix all the bugs too    ..

You should probably check their profiles. These have been on the forum for a while.

That latest one joined in December 2014.

That means they registered either on 3.4.7 or during a very early beta of 4. (I can't remember when they upgraded here.)

This means they're not necessarily getting past the spam controls now.
