All options has a type variable (forums_topic, downloads_file, etc.). ALL NEW CONTENT don't. The only way to check the default value is seeing the content of the type variable, which will always be empty to ALL NEW CONTENT, and that's why it redirects to TOPICS. Link to comment

Sorry, new to IPB 4, but yes, it looks to me like it's not working the way I thought it would. It keeps "all content" as the default. Any chances of an update in that case?
