About This File

This plugin (hook) will set TOPICS as default filter to NEW CONTENT search. IPS4 has ALL NEW CONTENT as default.

  • FORUMS application is required.

I have found that when this is enabled, I'm unable to select any of the other options ONLY TOPICS can be selected, can't select images or all content.

Fixed. Download and update the plugin.

Better, however I am still unable to select "All New Content", but can select the others individually now.

I can reproduce it but I don't think I can do much in here. All options has a type variable (forums_topic, downloads_file, etc.). ALL NEW CONTENT don't. The only way to check the default value is seeing the content of the type variable, which will always be empty to ALL NEW CONTENT, and that's why it redirects to TOPICS.

That's okay with me, I would rather lose the all content then have it default to all content, the rest works great!

Does this plugin work for the latest version of IPS?

I have no idea. Test and let us know.

If I see gallery items among the Unread Content, it means it doesn't, right?

Sorry, new to IPB 4, but yes, it looks to me like it's not working the way I thought it would. It keeps "all content" as the default.

Any chances of an update in that case? Even if it was a paid one, I'd be happy to buy it.

Cheers

Oops... just discovered that it's possible to do this from the Admin CP on 4.1 :)
