Patch file: http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/documentation/index.html/_/knowledge-base/311-twitterfacebook-connection-issues-member-list-pagination-404-issues-and-more-r466

Is the main IPB 3.1.1 zip file updated for those who download it after the announcement was made?

I'm going to take my guess out on a limb here, as I've always known IPS to update the main downloads with patches that are released.

My hunch is telling me that it is, but I wouldn't take my word for it. ;]

Since they normally do it, I would think it is. But since it wasn't mentioned, and the date on the file is the 15th, I thought I'd ask.

I'm sure they did, but better safe than sorry, ya know.

Yes, the main download was updated when we posted the patch.

The patch wont work for me if I goto the ACP then Forums - Add New Category then click the Permissions tab it wont goto it.

This issue has now been fixed, please re-apply the patch here: http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/documentation/index.html/_/knowledge-base/311-twitterfacebook-connection-issues-member-list-pagination-404-issues-and-more-r466

The new file is: admin/applications/forums/skin_cp/cp_skin_forums.php

The file says it was updated on the 16th, but in this topic it said Matt was still looking for a fix today. Does this mean the most updated file acidentally was left out originally or am I somehow having the wrong file still?

I see that file wasn't even included in the previous patch. I'm not sure why that's the date on the file, it must have been already fixed further and was taken from SVN. Not sure, Matt would have to answer that. A few users have confirmed it works whatever the case may be :)
