Mat Barrie Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Just register on the forums and send us a ticket, we'll sort out your access. Only major versions (1.0 -> 2.0 for example) have upgrade fees (and they're only something like $3 anyway) and only ones from AFTER we clarified the policy (we don't think it's fair to charge upgrade fees to people who thought there weren't any).
PKIDelirium Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Would it be possible to use this with IP.Content, when using the external index.php file? Obviously it would be there when using Content with the IPB wrapper, but is it possible to include the menu directly from a Content page?
Mat Barrie Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Yeah, we also have a block plugin for IP.Content which you can download from the customer downloads area.
MycoQuebec Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Hi, first of all: i love your mod, worked perfectly on ipBoad 3.1.1 very satisfied!! I only have a little request. Is it possible to place the menu under the header? I want to replace the old nav bar with you mod! Thanks for your time and efforts!
Mat Barrie Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 Sounds like you're only needing the "Primary Navigation" function then for your forum MycoQuebec. Basically, you just go into Settings, and set "Enable Header Menu" to "No" and set "Enable Primary Navigation" to "Yes". Optionally, you can also select "Erase IPS Navigation". Then, you just use the "Manage Primary Navigation" area to set up the menu. Send us in a ticket if you need any help with that :)
MycoQuebec Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 OMG I never tought it could be that simple, never! I'm very satisfied. It makes the edition of the menu so simple. I spent way too much time trying to learn all the css stuff with ipboard just to make a decent editable menu. Well worth the money, especialy with the good service! Thank you so much!!
Escort Cabriolet Club Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Did you manage to think of a way around the link problem? Any news, time scale? Paul
Mat Barrie Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 Any news, time scale? Paul Not 100% sure right at this time.
townie83 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 FYI Mat, someone has uploaded the .zip file to a well known template/warez forum :(
Mat Barrie Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 Really? That was remarkably slow! I'm not sure whether to be offended about the warezing, or the slowness!
emberintherain Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 lol.. Don't feel bad. Haha.. I write plugins for Cinema 4D and my latest was warezed in a day. My philosophy is that anyone who is downloading warez isn't going to buy your product anyway. :)
Mat Barrie Posted July 11, 2010 Author Posted July 11, 2010 Version 1.1.3 is now available. This one fixes all the current bugs I'm aware of, and finally lets you add icons to primary navigation. Looks quite good in my opinion - just make sure you get the images the right size. This is the last 1.1.x release - the next is v1.2 which I'll talk more about later. We're going to be working on improving our product delivery mechanism before then - the current method involving IP.Downloads and groups is pretty rough.
PSXHosting Ltd. Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 There is a problem after upgrade. I see this at the top of my forums. Mat Barrie Posted July 11, 2010 Author Posted July 11, 2010 I'm updating the zip files now, but the solution is to open that PHP file and remove all whitespace from the top of the file (up to the <?php) I swear it, one of these days I'm going to burn the IDE for "fixing" the format of my XML files.
Escort Cabriolet Club Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I'm still working on a good way to do that :/ Lots of bad ways, not many good ways. Thanks for the update, was kind of hoping you would have fixed this tho :(
JahLion Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I bought this and love it ,install with out problems and still working with out problems..thx for great product..
Painted Horse Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Mat - How does this handle SSL? I have my login set to use SSL and I've noticed that since enabling this, firefox is telling me that not everything is encrypted anymore over the connection and I can't find anything other than this: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.dudegroup.net/community/public/js/fusionmenu.js" charset="UTF-8"> where it is loading something on the wrong protocol. Is it possible to incorporate a check for whether it is being served via SSL (and build the HTML script call accordingly) so it doesn't tip off the security notices?
Mat Barrie Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 It's actually using the IPB "board url" method to spit that out. I'll see about having it check the current protocol and spitting out the right one.
Escort Cabriolet Club Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Matt have you had any luck with clicking the link for a drop down menu taking you to the forums index page? Paul
Graeme Leighfield Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Matt have you had any luck with clicking the link for a drop down menu taking you to the forums index page? Paul Just make the URL of that option # then when clicked it wont do anything...
Mat Barrie Posted July 19, 2010 Author Posted July 19, 2010 We're in "feature freeze" for v1.2 as the 1.1.3 release announcement mentioned, unless there's a showstopper bug. Be aware that I do have to carefully balance the needs of customers with primarily desktop browsers and those with mobile browsers - so I can't just rush and create something that isn't optimal for as many people as possible. I'm hoping you can understand the predicament that places me in there.
Painted Horse Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 It's actually using the IPB "board url" method to spit that out. I'll see about having it check the current protocol and spitting out the right one. Upgraded to 1.1.4, and it appears to still be breaking the "everything is secure" seal by loading the JS via http: rather than https: I can't find anything else other than the fusionmenu.js in the SSL media or page source that is not fetching via SSL. Any ideas? (should be able to see/reproduce here)
Painted Horse Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Mat, is there any way to include the IPS chat # hook (where it shows in a bubble on the nav bar how many people are in chat) in your menu for the chat application? (If not, is there a way you can mimic it to do the same thing with your menu?)
jackflash Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Looked through all of the posts for this answer: How do I change the font size? I need to make them smaller OR add two rows. Thanks
