Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Gabriel Petrelli Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I was just moved out of the customers group and back into the member group for some reason, I have no access to the customer forums. I'm not due for a license renewal for IPB until next month, renewal for the blog and galley addons is not due until next year. Can anyone shed any light on what happened or why I've been moved out of the customers group and no longer have access to the customer sections?
Tarun Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Just happened to me too. Relog and you'll be fine. :)
Gabriel Petrelli Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 Weird glitch, don't know why that happened. I was worried for a second, anyway I did what was mentioned and it's sorted now.
Brett B Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Just logged in and out locally on the Company Forums, and things are back to normal again :). I originally tried logging out and back in on the Converge page, and when that didn't work I assumed there was a problem.
Andy Rixon Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Yeah, I had this problem too, I was like "Well thats weird, my license is still active and not due to be renewed untill december" then I thought to log out and then log back in and it was fine :D
Axel Wers Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Yeah, the same here. Log out and log in back.
Smokey-Rev Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm fine I believe. :) but yeah odd issue...
I am Freddy G Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Happend to me I submitted a ticket but maybe I shouldn't have if they know about it edit: The login thing don't work for me I even logged in through converge
bfarber Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 While the issue itself should be resolved, some clients may now be in the members group. If your license is active, log out and back in to "re-update" it. Moving forward we should have "real-time" updates for your permissions. When you buy a new package, it should automatically update your permissions here without requiring you to log out and back in.
.Ian Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Might be an idea to post an announcement as it is not nice to suddenly have restrictions without having done anything wrong.
Teddy Rogers Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Your fix didn't work, I had to logout and then back in again to fix it... :) Ted.
Y0Y0 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 lol I logged a ticket yesterday and quickly closed it when I realised by logging out and back in again fixed it.
