marcele Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I'm just curious .. there are some pretty serious open confirmed bugs (opened a week ago) that weren't fixed in this release? Why so? eg.http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?...65&bug_cat_id=1

Moezy Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I get an 'access denied' error when trying to pay my invoice and download this version. :( :(
marcele Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Is it just me or has something changed with the "quickedit" in 2.1.2?? .. the "quickedit" button disappears after a certain amount of time? new feature or bug?
robirming Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Is it just me or has something changed with 2.1.2 .. my "quickedit" button is gone on my own posts ... ?? They were there some minute ago, now they're gone. Edit Seems you can only edit your posts for some minutes now.
Petrescu Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Is there no special 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 upgrade package this time?
princetontiger Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Anyone have the list of files changed?Skip the s at the end in 'customers':http://www.invisionpower.com/customer/ Make sure you are using https instead of http.
Dlf Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Is it just me or has something changed with the "quickedit" in 2.1.2?? .. the "quickedit" button disappears after a certain amount of time? new feature or bug? . Just noticed that; after 10 minutes (for me atlest) it seems. don't know if it's a bug or a feature. let's hope bug. a 2.1.3. relased; that would be weird. :P (w00t) :D
Fabien Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Good job bfarber! Thank you very much to have fixed hardcoded texts ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
Micks Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Yes I too would like a list of files that have been changed.
sonyinsider Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I have 2be1ask1, and everything seems to be working well.
XanthicBB Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Pfffffft... I have to say I'm getting a little frustrated with having to redo my skins every few weeks.
xQuarkDS9x Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 A list of files that changed from last release (as I doubt IPS updated all of them) and what php code bits were changed and or removed would help a LOT and save time.
.om Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 good job, though skin bits need to be updated :( and no upgrade packs either :(
Management Matt Posted October 14, 2005 Management Posted October 14, 2005 The edit button allows one to edit their posts for a pre-set time. When this time is 'over', the button is removed. It's a feature. :) Most of the PHP files have changed because of the new headers and copyright date change. Let me get a diff report from SVN: admin.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_chatsigma.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_editors.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_forum.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_global.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_msg.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_printpage.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_profile.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_register.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_subscriptions.php cache/lang_cache/en/lang_topic.php index.php init.php install/index.php install/installfiles/ipb_settings.xml install/sql/mysql_inserts.php ipb_templates.xml ipchat.php ips_kernel/class_converge.php ips_kernel/class_image.php ips_kernel/class_template.php ips_kernel/class_template_engine.php ips_kernel/class_upload.php ips_kernel/class_xml.php ips_kernel/class_xmlarchive.php jscripts/ipb_bbcode.js jscripts/ipb_editor_rte.js jscripts/ipb_editor_std.js jscripts/ipb_global_xmlenhanced.js jscripts/ipb_topic.js jscripts/ips_xmlhttprequest.js lofiversion/index.php lofiversion/lofi_skin.php sources/* ssi.php upgrade/core/functions.php upgrade/index.php upgrade/upg_21008/ipb_settings_partial.xml upgrade/upg_21008/mysql_updates.php upgrade/upg_21008/version_history.php upgrade/upg_21008/version_upgrade.php upgrade/upgrade.php
FCB-Mo Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 where is the patch? i really want the patch :)
Alex Duggan Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Pfffffft... I have to say I'm getting a little frustrated with having to redo my skins every few weeks. You shouldn't need to totally redo your skins at all for maintainance releases such as this - there's a difference report included with the release annoucnement to allow you to add in any HTML changes that are needed in templates that you've customised. Any non-customised templates that have changes in are updated automatically by the upgrade script and therefor require no action on your part.
