Dear Sir/Madam, I'd like to report a bug in the IPB RC2 2.2.0 release (also happens in previous releases of this version) Navigate to some user's profileAdd a comment using foreign characters (such as hebrew)For some strange reason, the content of the comment (when written in hebrew characters for example) is showing in a twisted way. Only the first two characters are displayed correctly and after that we see strange characters that doesn't make any sense and no pattern is concluded after posting a lot of different comments. This bug only happens in this specific location. Regards, kid_4000.

the live demo page says it will be ready about mid october. is there something wrong with the demo or did it just slip their minds, in the rush of getting the new board out? i know first thought would be "install yourself a test board". there are some reasons for me to avoid this for the time being. still, i would really like to get the feeling of the admin cp. thank you.

My forum has been screwed up ever since 2x, but i created a clone of my mysql database and am testing the upgrade and maybe even fix my skin to work with 2.2, but i noticed this problem in the global header links. http://www.mjone.com/testforum/ If you notice, there are 2 home links. One is for MJHQ[dot]com which was my old site years ago. For some reason it put it there. why did it do this? There are no settings the admin cp linking to to that address. Everything is pointing to the new address which is www.mjone.com . I didn't have this problem with 2.1.x Anyone know how i can fix it? Should I not revert and edit them by hand? Or should I revert? Or remove and wait for better skins? I've been beta testing on my SuSE test machine next to me, I realized that the update kills ALL the old skins. :P

Resized image should be clickable to show full size

I like the new "resize images that are too large" feature, but do not like that you have to click on a small area on the bottom right to show the full size image. I would much prefer if the whole image was clickable instead.

Forgive me if this has been requested already. My initial search and scan didn't see any topics directly asking this. On the IPB forum that I manage, every day it seems some spammer gets through the image login signup check, signs up a new account, spams 1-5 new topics, and then never returns. This is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. A nice feature, would be a simple global setting of "Put new users first ___# of posts in moderation queue." This would simply have the effect of putting any new topics (or replies) a new user make into moderation until they have made X number of posts. This is actually a very simple feature... However, "Since it requires some inner coding changes, it is not something I want to alter myself, as upgrading IPB in the future would become a nasty hassle." In the "Edit Member's Profile" area (in Admin CP), under "Other Information", the addition of "Custom Rank Image" would be great. Currently, for every user GROUP, you can set a custom image that everyone in that group uses. However, this feature request is to allow specific user rank image changing. Hi, I have a problem, have just downloaded RC2 and the front end works fine, when I attempt to login as Admin - using the correct username and password - it logs me in then on the next screen it says "No administration session found" - I on the page with the little man in a yellow sign - where it says "Log In Successful" at the top I get this error: IPB WARNING [2] strstr() [function.strstr]: Empty delimiter. (Line: 1373 of c:\wamp\www\sources\lib\admin_functions.php) Please see attached image. Hope someone can help, I have used this exact same Localhost setup for afew boards no problem, only had this error with RC2 - a fresh installation. Thank you.

I think that there should be a section in your User CP asking if you want to receive an email for a new PM. Some people like admins that get lots of PMs might get annoyed at all the emails, but they go to the board every day since they are admins.

The eAccelerator 0.95 release, I notice this feature: <LI>The shared memory functions, session handler and content cache are disabled by default now. They are only used by a small amount of users and they could allow local users to fill up the memory, if they aren't secured properly. Does the IPB v2.2's EA plugin use content cache? Are we need open the options when make it?

Reason for editing - Some questions

1) How come members can't use this? 2) Can there be more than one reason for editing? i.e. A member called Fred edits his post (reason for editing - "Spelling mistake"). An Admin edits Fred's posts (reason for editing - "No links to other sites allowed"). 3) Can you add a reason for editing from "Quick Edit"?
