Best bet for old skins?

There will be skin changes? Or will there be better support for old skins?

I'd rather be able to change skins, then when final comes out not deal with being skinless for a few weeks (because I'll probably suck very hard at it)

Basically I guess I'm asking for a crash course in easy skin upgrades. :P

Of course I'm not touching my live board with ANYTHING but final.

I'm doing ALL my testing on a non-live board, so I can make sure the transfer will be basically seamless :P

both as I can remember 2.0.0 RC2 had 34 changes to the skin when FINAL came after it

so you never ever know man

I would test the skins out get used to the 2.2.0 skin/template system

why wait til the final comes out? Designers like me who designed our own skins would like to have them ready by the time final comes out. so we can upgrade our boards.

Personally, I would do just as you are - .Will says that to everyone who mentions doing anything with the RCs anyway. Even if there are changes between RC2/RC3 (whichever is last) and Final, at least you would not have too many changes to make. Which is to say, significantly less than if you had to make all changes after final is released.

I've heard good things about Beyond Compare for establishing skin changes, perhaps you could give it a shot.
