  1. Setting up an education app with Commerce that collects from students and pays out teachers for lessons. 

    Payments for lessons work as expected.  

    When I try to test withdrawals for the teachers I get the below message.

    A configuration or server error has occurred

    1X200/1 Authorization error occurred.

    I have the same PayPal Client ID and Secret password for Withdrawals and Payments   ACP > Commerce > Settings > PayPal 

     

    Could contain: Page, Text, File

  2. I feel like this is a dumb question but I can not figure it out.

    How do I set permissions for Commerce menu items? From my admin account, I can see what I need to see. When I log in as a user I can get "The page you are trying to access is not available for your account.

    I messed the the menu item settings and looked in Group permissions. Where the holy heck is the setting?

     

  3. I use my admin group for testing. The simple email went through and the new HTML did not. I have repeated this a few times. 

    The error log shows one bad email address ( has a hard bounce) I have in there but not other errors. 

    Makes me wonder if all these emails were sent but blocked by a filter on the server? ? 

  4. Trying to send a test email of a heavily formatted HTML email. I do not get an error message but I can not see that anything was sent. Looks like the system just ignored it.

    When I re-tested with a very simple email everything worked. Is there a formatting limitation that must be followed? 

  5. I am getting ready to do my first pilot Live Topic.

    Am I correct that when I organize/set up the live topic I need to copy the resulting URL like www.mystite.com/live/topic/2 and that is what I share with my users so they can find / attend the live topic? 

    It is as simple as the URL for the live topic is posted in a forum post or event page and the users follow the link?

  6. So I had an Alternative Account Contact that was getting accounting emails from IPS but was not getting support emails.  

    I deleted my Alternative Account Contact so I could use that email as my primary but the system says "That email address is in use by another member". So now I am not getting accounting or support emails.

    This is becoming a bit of a rabbit hole. I just trying to get the status of a support ticket.

     

  7. I have not received any emails from support@invisionpower.com today. I have received more than a dozen other emails today.

    I double-checked the address in my IPS client area and it is correct.

    I have checked and searched junk and deleted messages. My email seems to be working otherwise. Of course, the issue could be at my end but at this point, I do not think so. Feel free to send me a test email if that is helpful.

    This is all ironic since one of my tickets is about my email deliverability.

    Could you please just DM the messages? Or I believe at added a second email to my account at some point.

     

  8. I emailed a request for support to support@invisionpower.com on 1/28 & another on 1/31.

    I have not heard back on either. Is this not the process for creating a support ticket?  Is there just a backlog?
