    Ok so the host has checked everything and there are no errors, he even uploaded files to get it working. was working for 10 minutes then it's returned again. I converted from Simple machines do you think that has something to do with it? @Marc Stridgen

    How is that fixable? Yeah I had the task to run automatically and then switched it to cron thinking it would solve the issue. I will certainly ask the hosting provider.

    Hi @Marc Stridgen yeah I have just looked and can't find anything in the system logs and I have also deleted the plugin.

    That was short lived @Jim M it has returned again.

    This seems to have done the trick. the Mark notification plugin looked like was the problem. Thank you for your help.

    ACP -> System -> Applications -> expand System -> click permissions "Status Updates"

    I managed to do it. It was a setting in the system.

    Hi everyone Something is confusing me, My forum statistics can take 10 hours to update or catch up. the cache is set at 1 minute so I have no idea why this is happening. Can anyone help please? it has been stuck on 10.711 posts since early this morning UK time.

    Sorry,Yeah that's the setting I was talking about. I have it enabled.

    Groups and profile settings Profile settings I have set to Enabled by default Status updates will be enabled by default, but users will be able to disable them for their account Yeah that's what doesn't make sense. permissions are correct as far as I can see.

    According to settings I have them set right. as admin I am able to turn my status on. Members can't. Is this a bug?

    I have managed to do the posts but statistic won't change. I went to the template for forum statistics. Not sure if I am in the right place. I changed the format from medium to large but it didn't change anything. Here is what I have in forum statistic template.

    Sorry if I sound dumb but where about is this? I can't find it in my templates. I have even used the search bat post_container template.

    Hi I was wondering if there is a way to edit the statistics? What I am trying to achieve is the number of posts. instead of having 2.3k I would like it to say 2,300 posts.
