Hello guys, im getting an error of admin-ajax.php on one of the plugin "chatbox+" ( me and the author of this plugin talked about this, and it seems the problem was on the WP side ) the WP and IPB sits on same root folder, the problem was when an open tab is open for more than an hour or days, it redirect to an error "ipb error 2S119/1", so anyone experience this error along side with WP? this the error I found in the log this is the error we are getting -Allan

Hello, I try to install IPB on my localhost to fix a plugin, however when I try to install it on my localhost it fails, please help, see attach screenshot I follow this domain is on "localhost" and nothing else -Allan

We have this issue on a certain page, latest activity or the discover page, wherein, anyone can access, it should be for logged in users only, see attach screen as you can see im on incognito mode and not logged in, but I can see that page, any help? -Allan of Nigel's Team

Hi there, We are doing some tuning of our MariaDB and we noticed that the DB engine used by IPB is currently set to MYISAM. We'd like to update this to INNODB but we don't want to do it without making sure we won't break our IPB or any support requirements. Can you let us know if there are any special requirements to updating all our IPB tables to INNODB? Or whether we are simply OK to do it using the following standard command for each table: ALTER TABLE <databasename>.<tablename> engine=InnoDB; Many thanks!

Hi Marc, I updated the access details in Nigel's account, both FTP and admin access.. So what happened is that I updated the IPB to 4.6.10, I did the update in one of our staging URL, and it turns out it was working well, so I decide to update the live from 4.6.9 to 4.6.10, but after that, my posts are having rubbish codes ( others are not affected ) I remember before I updated to 4.6.10, I created a user custom profile fields, a check box type, however it gives me error when I save it, something got to do with the table "core_pfields_content" that it needs to be dynamic, as it turn out it is compact. So I change the table into dynamic, and it seems working, as I can see my posts without those rubbish code showing. So fast forward, I upgrade to 4.6.10 ( again starting with our staging ) and yes, my posts in forums are displaying rubbish code as seen in the screenshot attached. So I revert back to 4.6.9 by copying all the backup files and database, everything works fine except I still see that rubbish code in my posts, I thought it should fix as I just revert back to 4.6.9 database and files.. So I try to play around and notice when I remove that custom tag I created, the rubbish code is not displaying anymore. I thought it should not happened as it should be reverting back to 4.6.9 Hope this helps and you can help us When you logged in, try to set your profile to this custom fields "MSP/IT BIZ Status" and check it Regards -Allan of Nigel's Team

Has anyone got multiple tabs working in PWA (Progressive Web App) mode? (what they talk about in this thread here) If I open a thread in a new window whilst in the PWA, it takes me out of the PWA and over into Edge (not what it should do). (as you all know, opening threads in a new window is typical behavior for someone scanning through a forum list and opening any threads they want to read) Ideally in the PWA, it should open up the new tabs inside the PWA (and not outside in Edge) if you have that Tab feature turned on that's mentioned in the link above. It even happens here on invisioncommunity.com if I install it as a PWA. Has anyone got this working properly?

You would only be overwriting files that are already there and adding files that are not yet present. Any site data that is created would not be in the downloaded package, so would not be overwritten. -> So it would not overwrite the themes then? just to confirm as I notice that in the downloaded files the theme doesn't exists in the zip. That is to add a new application though. -> Ah ok, so in our case we are adding "Downloads" and that needs to download the whole file then. Ill do this and let you know any updates. Hi @Marc Stridgenis this the way to go? download the whole system and re-upload it? does it not overwrite themes? I mean, so to update from 4.5.4.2 to 4.6.8 is to download it and not via the "upgrade" click inside the AdminCP? All we need is to upgrade to version 4.6.8 and use the "Download" feature we purchase.
