  2. Hi @Adriano Faria there is a way to: Set in batch all members to not be able to send notifications (So I can decide which will be able later) Set NO send notification as default for new members. The reason is, I don't want to have a new specific primary group for this feature. Thanks!

  4. No, at least with mentions, reactions, and custom notifications. I impersonated the account, I sent four notifications, the first two disappeared, then the other two remained, my guess was something flushed after I sent the notifications in a row. Only one user reported it so far, as his account has nothing special, made us wonder if this could be happening to other members as well. Thanks both for your answers.
  5. Just normal upload in the themes > manage resources However the staging was not affected, as we had this SOP that we update staging first then if no problem, we update IPB production. Just now our team notice it and I took care of it, so it was fixed by uploading again, however I did not know the root cause, so I thought to post it here and maybe there are some experienced member who were able to pinpoint the root cause and prevent it from happenning again. -Allan
  6. Hello guys, We had this problem that the default profile photo was deleted or somehow removed or gone. Is there a possiblity that it somehow gone or removed after update? Im pretty sure it was not deleted as I was the only person responsible updating the IPB and for sure I did not removed it. Our default profile photo is a custom image, so just wondering what might cause it? Thanks -Allan, of Team Nigel
  7. Hi everybody. We have this issue in our community, spotted by one of our members, whenever a notification number appears it disappears right away (in a second approx.). This doesn't happen every time, so it is an intermittent bug, hard to reproduce and capture. Do you have any idea what could be causing it and the solution we may apply? thanks!
  8. Has anybody experienced problems with push notifications on phones? We set the manifest configuration in System > Settings > Web app > Manifest. This os our current situation: Push notifications (and red badge) are working fine in Desktop PWAs (chrome & edge), but not working at all in phones (iOS or Android), not notifications arriving nor badge showing.   12. Hi everyone. Coming back after a long pause on this feature. We finally enabled it in our community. However, we haven't been able to input the "latest activity" feed as the main page (/discover URL). As I stated before this is correct, but we're a private community so guests should not be able to see anything at all. Is there a workaround for we can input this private page as the start URL? Thanks!

Thanks @Marc Stridgen - I'm not 100% sure there, however our infrastructure guy came back and said that the problem may have actually been caused by another server side tool we had recently loaded (X-Debug) that was causing a bunch of other things as well, so it might not have been Redis after all. Thanks for your input on this one.
  15. @Marc Stridgen & @Jim M - just as an update, it did end up being Redis caching and the problem apparently was because of having both our staging site and our public site both being on the same server and apparently IPB got confused somehow. Our infrastructure guy said this same issue will likely happen to everyone else who sets up the Redis feature and has their staging & public sites on the same server, so he was going to send me a deeper explanation so I could send it over to you for consideration in rolling out a fix or update or addition to the setup Docs.
  16. Thanks, so far it's looking like the Redis caching was the issue. Our internal team is doing some more checking to confirm and then we need to work out what we can do to avoid it from ever happening again.
  17. Every day we have approx. 100-300 new threads / replies to existing threads (posts) happen inside the Community. A few hours ago we noticed the Latest Activity feed was missing all but the most recent few posts (from the last 10-15 minutes) and there were then no new posts showing in the Activity Feed right back to about February 10th when it started showing posts again. (there has been something like 2,000 - 3,000 posts during that time) Weirdly enough (as you can see in the screenshot), the only entries that are showing in the Latest Activity view during that 1.5 month window are entries where people have RSVP'd for events on our Events Calendar and have Bookmarked Threads. No other activity (aka, those 2k-3k posts) is showing up in the feed apart from the last 1-2 hours of recent posts. Could this be something to do with Redis that we configured in IPB this year? (we did restart the VPS earlier today for something else and it's as if something like a cache has been reset has lost a bunch of the data in the cache)
  18. We have this problem in our latest activity, wherein some were missing For example the screenshot below shows Feb 10 to Feb 21, but between that date there should be like more activity data shows, any idea ? -Allan of Nigel's Team
  19. @Adriano Faria Good day. The notifications are only enabled for "primary groups" not secundary. This is intended or could I have some sort of glitch? Thanks!
