Is there a way to disable all activity (posts, comments, uploads, everything...) but still allow anyone to view the community? I think I can edit permissions for Groups to do this, but I was hoping for a simpler solution. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or are Permissions the only way? Thanks!

Though checked the addon, the code seems okay for PHP8 but seems like the hooks are not compatible with latest version of IPS. (I have not tried installing it, only read a little of code in my free time). Thats the only reason i think it's crashing the system.
Anyway, IPS team should be able to help you Or ask them to revert to an old backup where everything was correct and then uninstall the non essential add-ons and upgrade the forum.

I'm on a cloud plan. I have no idea if or how to do this. The error is a launch onto a page that says it cannot load.

My site is completely unusable because there is no way to uninstall an app that is incompatible with PHP8. The original developer says they are not going to help. "If uninstalling Member Map fails, that's something IPS staff would need to look at. Or temporarily switch back to PHP7.4 if that helps in getting it removed."
When I told them IPS said I needed to ask the developer to help, they said "I was afraid that would be their answer, but I'm not gonna patch an app...."
So my community is losing interactivity and engagement because every page loads as broken and ugly and requires multiple refreshes to be readable.
I feel so defeated. I don't know what to do. -

I have one more plugin/app that I cannot uninstall that seems to be interfering with my community. I've written to the developer and they say that IPS support has to do the uninstall. This is so frustrating constantly being stuck between two services that keep passing the responsibility off to others. What can I do? My site is almost unusable.

@Jim M @Marc Stridgen The developer says he can't help me and that I need to ask you to do this. You say you can't help me and to ask the developer to fix this. This is not an issue that I created or can fix by myself. What am I supposed to do??

Wait, but the fact that I can't uninstall any of them is all on them? That doesn't make sense. I really dislike when issues are so quickly blamed on third-party plugins without investigating.

We would need to look at the issue on our own site of course. Which also has a custom theme. Its worth noting however, we dont use that section any longer
Both have been cleared multiple times. That's one of the first things to do. Should I open a ticket? I know it must be a plugin/application issue. For some reason, the system won't let me uninstall any applications, but they are disabled.

Never mind, I see that you no longer have a support ticket system.
Here are the PHP8 errors listed in my warnings. I have disabled Pay To Unlock and Member Map and LMS but I can't uninstall them.

This is when using the new default you installed, so something isn't right... I don't think it's a template thing.

The "new default" you added just showed me the same issue. All templates throw the same error. And the same issue is on THIS site, so it's not limited to my site. You happened to not see the issue because it disappears and reappears. You happened to be looking when the page was refreshed. What could the issue be if it is also on this site? See screenshot below. It goes away if I refresh or go to a different page, but it is here, too. What could that be?

@Jim MI am having the same problem and it isn't limited to my own site. Even this site has the same issue. When I come to Support Forums, the similar Template error shows here until I refresh the page. At my own site, none of my updated themes work, not even the default theme, and I tried the "revert" global template fix, but that didn't help. I have all incompatible plugins disabled, but they still seem to be creating a problem. I tried to uninstall them and it throws an error and says I can't uninstall it. I have to manually return myself to my site because the error gives me no way back.
What should I do?Thanks!

UPDATE: clearing system cache fixed this. So all is well!

SUPPORT REQUEST: ChatBox+ Issue... An update to ChatBox+ has created havoc to Infraskew Theme (and only Infraskew). I've messaged the ChatBox creator, but since this is specific to Infraskew, I wondered if there is something that is specific to this theme that is rendering the chat incorrectly? The chat is loading fully open and dominating the the bottom of the site with massive icons and overlapping text, etc.
