  1. This may seem like a silly question but are you accessing each install through the same means? (i.e. the same browser on your local machine). I ask as this could be a time zone difference being shown here. By chance, you're viewing this through a remote desktop machine and it has a completely different time zone, that would be expected.
  2. While I certainly sympathize with the situation you are in, the fact of the matter is what I have highlighted for you. The part is the word "technically". That word has, unfortunately, caused significant struggles, pain, and downtime for our clients and significant overhead for our support on items which are outside our scope of support already. This was one of the many reasons to force authors to verify and confirm what version their add-ons work for prior to allowing them to appear as such in the Marketplace. Then also to verify those versions on install for clients. As much as I hate to throw anyone under the bus, it is also a little protecting you from yourself scenario too. Where clients have installed add-ons from far outdated releases, which just bring their site down. This may not be your scenario here but this is an extreme example that came up often in the past. If the author wishes to provide you the files, you can certainly upload the add-on as a custom item to your installation still. Though, from what it sounds like, the author has abandoned the project so that may not be as helpful but still worth a try to reach out. Ultimately, this has been discussed a lot on the community and while it has not fallen on deaf ears, as we truly value your input, it is not something which we are going to change at this time. I hope this helps clarify why this was done and I do want to say again, we do value your input here and it does continue to shape how we do things here.
  3. While I certainly understand the concern here, an upgrade will certainly not modify your permissions. This needs to be done from an administrator (or potentially, a third party add-on). Looking in your logs, I do see permissions changed back in September for guests. While I cannot confirm what was changed, there was a change which could include this. Sorry that you encountered this but as mentioned, it is something that will be reviewed.
  4. Thanks for posting! Unfortunately, this issue is beyond the scope of our technical support. 👩‍💻 Our technical support is happy to help you with the Invision Community platform, but we're unable to help with things like server management, theme questions and modifications. I've moved this to our Community Support area where other Invision Community owners will see it and help where they can.
  5. By the permissions you have provided the user group, you in fact do want users to be able to read topics but not forums. While I do not believe this is a security issue in the software itself, as the software is doing exactly what you told it to do, I do think that this requires a little review internally as confusion can be had from this if you are expecting something to happen like you did here.
  6. Please feel free to add the user ID of the user in question here. This way all of our technicians can assist you.
  7. To clarify your question, you are wanting to hide IP addresses from moderators, is that correct?
  8. SendGrid's URL decryption has caused some issues in the past so I would not be surprised. Of course, can confirm this by doing some tests with another SMTP provider.
  9. Excellent! Glad to hear you found the issue.
  10. No worries. Glad you found where it was coming from 👍
  11. Please be advised that test URLs have limited support. Often if the file set and database are the same, it would be a server configuration item which is preventing it from showing. Looking in your browser console you may see an error. Often this comes up as mod_security when there is a display or save issue which is loaded over AJAX like this is. I would recommend reviewing your server/php configuration to ensure they are the same.
  12. Sorry, could you please elaborate what this is in regards? We have a GEOIP service as a part of your active license but that is not an external service that can be replaced unless you're referring to something third party that you have installed which uses it.
  13. I'm afraid, the only options at this time would be to renew the subscription or have the user contact you to fully remove it.

Please contact the author for assistance in uninstalling it.
  15. They are sorted by when they were created. If you would like to change this feature, please leave your suggestion in the Feature Suggestion forum. I can move this for you, if you would like?
  16. If you created an IPS Temp Admin account, you will need to copy the details in the Client Area access details area. The admin credentials that are there now is not for the IPS Temp Admin account.
  17. That would indicate you already have a subscription. You can only have 1 subscription at a time.
  18. Please be advised I have marked this to a developer for some further input. Someone will reply when they are able to.

  20. Yes, the software is not aware of the sub-domain you've setup so likely was trying to access via the same generic base URL your community is setup which will break. When using a custom sub-domain, CDN, etc... a custom URL is required.
  21. All good now 🙂 . While we certainly understand and appreciate it, the sole purpose of Two Factor Authentication, such as Google Authenticate (which you had enabled) is to authorize one individual's phone/device/what-have-you. There is no secure way we really can abide by this when multiple individuals on our staff may require access to be assisting you from potentially multiple different shifts. If you wish to provide us with security questions/answers that is something which we can still use and you can place in the notes section of the Client Area. However, at this time, we do not support Google Authenticate or Authy to be in place for support access. Hope that helps explain. That's not to say you shouldn't use it, just disabling access for when we require it would be the best idea.
  22. Download (via the Downloads app) and upload would utilize the path on your server, whereas, viewing an image utilizes the custom URL so if the custom URL is not set appropriately, it could be breaking.
  23. Is the custom URL set appropriately to the custom storage location? If so, could you please update the credentials in the Client Area so we can take a look?

This is all set and resolved for you in the ticket so I will close this topic 🙂 .
  25. Both ACP and SFTP appear to be working. ACP does require Two Factor Authentication, however, which at the time of an actual support need would need to be disabled.
