  1. I also think it's a very good idea. I would definitely buy and use this widget too. What's the point of using tags ? if you don't make it easy for users to find content. Eventually they just become a visual aid only in search or topic list in prefix Last year I suggested something like this too, but with an extra feature. The ability to attach a small picture per tag, so people could also have a visual aid when listing the topic, having a set of small pictures under the title that are actually tags, for example. If you are talking about a book, you can add the tag "book" and a small picture of a book under the topic title.
  2. I'm not skilled to use Pages, I have very basic knowledge of programming. And I don't know if I could keep topics in a page.Plus clubs has nice features since they work like subforums ( kinda ) and that's what I like
  3. Greetings. Finally I decided to move to 4.2 to use clubs. Short story: I regret it. I bought this mod and helped a little bit, but I see now that Clubs was not designed to do what I plan to do. I'd like to suggest for an option that I think makes sense. I'd like the possibility to disable the join club button in specific open clubs. This way, we could have an in between scenario: an open (readable) club with restricted writable access. As simple as hiding the "join club" button as an option when creating the club. Everybody would be able to see and read the content in the club, but only specific users could add content (moderators or leaders). The actual permissions do not help because an open club can lead to people messing up with the club content and a closed club prevents all users from reading the content.

I was revising this plugin and I could use 2 or 3 features like the breadcrumbs, removing the create menu and the light box- I'm interested to buy it when I finish my upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2.in a few days ... in the mean time I would like to suggest a feature that has been abandoned in another mod and I think it could help this plugin. I would like to have the ability to disable reactions in specific forums. For example, many of us have a "rules" section and I don't need people to "agree" or "disagree" or say "thanks" to the forum rules. Specially after 2 years ... it quite ridiculous. And if that is possible, another option could also be great, the possibility to disable reactions to posts if they are ( for example ) older than an specific date. It's also ridiculous to say "thanks" to a post that was written like 2 years ago.
  5. HI. I need a little help. Today I updated to 4.2.5 and I had to rework a bit all the colors, since they upgraded a little different. So far, so good, but there is something I can't find how to change it I know I'm doing something wrong. I want to change the background of the menus like the user profile and the emoticons to white, and remove the black. What should I change ? They used to be white and I prefer them white. Thanks
  6. HI. While I'm preparing to update to 4.2 I have a question concerning this mod. Will I be able to use the topic thumbnail in the club topic tabs too ? I read you wanted to focus this widget on forums only, if so, do you plan to make a version specifically for clubs ? We wouldn't mind paying for it. Thanks for your good job.

In communities like mine where controlling, managing, banning, censoring & restricting cotent/information (for legal reasons) is the bread & butter, I wonder if it would be possible to have a tab ( or more than one ) where the club owner didn't have the ability to moderate ( move, block, delete) in his/her own club ? This way the moderator could add a tab with content in the club that exceeds the permissions of the club owner.
  8. Hi.I need a common feature in my Community to work with Clubs also. I would prefer to have this feature included in a mod so it is easier to be upgraded in the future for new versions of clubs. IF I have a custom mod made will probably be more difficult to keep updated if clubs have changes in the future. What I need is a "default title", "default 1st topic" & "default reply" per topic tab to a club. A text that would auto load every time a user wants to create a topic or reply in one specific tab. So far, the mods on the marketplace do not deal with clubs, only with forum topics. It's useful to create, for example, review templates on specific sections or suggest titles to users or include instructions on the screen for users. For example, it could load a text on the first post saying "Please attach pictures on top of the text" I think it could be something useful, but I understand if you don't think it's a valuable asset to your mod or there are more urgent things.
  9. While I'm preparing to upgrade to 4.2, I have a question for this widget. Does this widget work for club topics too ? I mean, can I define a title and a first topic independently for each club topic tab for example ? OR this widget only works for topic in forums ? Thanks

HI Taman, I recently asked this in the peer to peer section Derpity replied to the topic with a suggestion, but it doesn't seem to be working for magnum theme using 4.1.19.4 and latest version 3.1.0 Is there something that needs to be fixed in that code to have those changes made ? I would appreciate if you could help me with this.
  12. I have 2 suggestions that might look awkward but would be very useful for my website when I upgrade and I think I wouldn't be the only one. Maybe they can be set up in different ways, but I just ask in case it is possible. Since it's been a some time since I tested clubs, some features might be already included. 1. The possibility to redirect a forum topic directly to the clubs main page when the user clicks on the topic. And Everytime someone updates something in the club section ( forums or galleries etc ) the possibility to bump the topic so that it appears updated and appears on top if sorted the forum section by date. The idea is to have a "dummy" topic that engages club activity so it mixes with the other topics and makes the Club ACtivity visible in the forum topics 2. this is one I guess it's more complicated but could make some sense if you think about it for some people that prefer a smoother integration between the forums and the clubs. The possibility to attach a "redirect forum" directly to a club and link it. So when a club has information updated ( new post, new picture etc), the subforum raises the position on top. The whole concept is that we could turn subforums into clubs links and have them listed as redirect forums and sorted by activity. This could be optional to some clubs because maybe I don't want all the clubs to have a subforum but it could be a good idea to increase participation for those clubs that admins want to promote or they think they are key to the website success and require a lot of visibility

Ok, I have a better clue of what's going on here I copied some topics using this application It looks like the slider is ignoring the topics copied using that mod and showing only the topics created normally. No matter how I sort them. I can give you access to the ACP, but I'm not sure if there is something you can do here.
  16. I tried enabling and disabling "ignore items if no image" with the same effect. But I'm using topic thumbnails to display the pictures on the slider.
  17. Greetings. I have been trying to add a configuration to my website, but It doesn't seem to be sorting as expected. What I need is the slider to fetch 20 featured topics ( featured ) and show them randomly. When I select "featured" only, the list always cuts at 14. It ignores from the 15th featured item. When I do not select "featured" items, it shows as many as I need. I have updated to the latest version with the same result. Should it show more than 14 ? I guess so. Help appreciated.
  18. Sorry to be a pain !! Is there any way to reduce the size of the menu words for something smaller ? Just in the PC version, not for mobile. I don't like submenus and I have run out of space.
  19. Hey Taman. Theme still working great !! we all love it. As a new suggestion, if it was possible from the theme to allow using html in the announcements, it would be cool. I know there are 2 widgets on the marketplace that allow that, but I think we all try to use only the necessary.
  20. Thank for the update. The new url boxes looks awesome and all my issues have been fixed. ______ I have a suggestion. Since people seem to be asking for more sliders, I don't think more sliders are going to help. Many people don't reach the 4th slider since they have already scrolled down. I only use the slider on the 1st page, because I think it's very persistent and might upset some users. However ... That made me think. Wouldn't it be cool, for example if I could load the gallery page with the slider#4 directly, instead of slider#1. I mean with another order. That might help displaying the right info in the right place. Then I could use the slider on the main page and on the gallery section. No saying showing 1 slider, but just playing with the order. I start with the 4th, and move to the next after elapsed time. And then I thought. Wouldn't it be even better, if I could decide which slider to show 1st in one specific forum. For example, I have a forum that only professional accounts can see & use. I'd like to display the 5th slider directly. So .. if nobody reaches to read the 5th slider after 45 seconds on the main page ( no big deal), well, at least the professional accounts will see the 5th slider directly when they access their private forums. Just a suggestion.
  21. It's the thin line in the border of each image. I'm attaching another image I created to simulate a button. This one used to work fine in the other templates, with the new template the edge of the png shows the thin line. I added a red mark
  22. This is the halo thing. It appeared with the new template. It's not something dramatic, but all png's seem to be affected, transparent or not. I haven't checked jpg, If this can't be fixed, it's not a big deal I'm attaching the picture of serveral icons we use to tag reviews. In the past we had all in white, now we have these lines in the edge of every icon. Since I made the icons myself, I know there is no small line in the file, plus it wasn't there before.
  23. This is the list of things that we have noticed so far: Not sure if this is related to the template, but all png files now have a halo in the edge, like a small and thin line. It doesn't matter if they are transparent or white. It is a bit disturbing sometimes. When you see an album there is no "follow this album" option or button. So right now nobody can follow an album. When we paste we are own URL with the ips4 format, the height of the link and the inside is different, and the gap is covered with the background texture ( which is black in our case) and the effect is weird. Picture attached There is no UP arrow ( I know this was commented at the beginning of the topic ) but my users insisted specially in the mobile version.
  24. I didn't say I like it, I said I love it. However, I didn't check the mobile template before buying it. Today I updated my community (all users) to this theme. Only the moderator knew I was going to change it. surprise !! They are thrilled & happy. Specially, with the mobile template. I don't know if you are responsible for that, but they were used to the grid view, and the mobile template uses a kind of traditional view. Everybody is happy posting with the mobiles. And this is a very important thing, since more and more members use only the phone. Using your template is a serious improvement. I will leave a review in the following days.
  25. Greetings. I'm about to replace my current theme in one of my communities for the Magnum Theme. I have installed it and I'm playing with it as admin. I plan to change the theme next sunday, maybe saturday I guess every new user has its own "cravings" so, I will write mine, no offense intended. Just "possible" suggestions. It's difficult to see the difference between users posting. by default there is a light grey separator line. Is it possible to make it darker ? My actual theme creates a boxed post which makes them more visible. But a darker line between posts should do for Magnum Theme Like all or most themes, it's not possible to configure the colors of the "quote" boxes. I know it can be modified directly in the template. If I add a logo on the top left section, the user bar moves leaving a gap on the upper side, no matter how thin & small my logo is, the bar always moves. The feeling I have is that when I add a logo the system creates a fixed logo area in height and width, and the log is resized inside. So I had to remove my logo and keep the name of the site in words. I guess, The Advanced Footer Widget & A different article styles have nothing to do with the footer and the templates included in the theme, right ? I'd like to know if I have to purchase them. Especially the footer. Sorry, it's a bit confusing. And for the rest, I love how the theme looks like. Excellent work /me waves a white flag. Oh and I haven't checked the mobile version yet !!
