Would it be possible to add a URL link to the picture ? This way users could also click on the image and visit a website. This would be very useful for forums with sponsors where they could pay for an ad in the right topic.

Hi OnlyME, I have some issues with this plugin. I don't want to give you a headache, but I use a kind of template with pictures and the plugin seems to delete a few of the pictures when it tries to add it as a thumbnail. It's hard to reproduce and not worth wasting our time checking where the issues come from. The point is it comes a moment when all the pictures disappear because they have been pasted inside the post and the original post loses the image. It produces a cascade effect. I honestly think the best solution would be to create an option that could prevent the system from acquiring pictures inside the post ( linked or attached ) If if you add a thumbnail manually, then perfect. If no thumbnail is added, then the system should display the default "no image available". Would it be possible to add this option in the future ?

Greetings. It looks like my template is actually bigger than the amount of data the field can hold, the plugin removes half of my template when saving it. I updated to the latest version of the plug in just in case. Is there anyway to increase the size or amount of data the field can hold ? or this is something related to IPS profile fields ? Thank you

I have the feeling that we keep asking a lot, sorry But I'm wondering if I can select in which forums these ads appear. I'm not interested to have ads in all forums. Thanks

Greetings. It's been working perfect so far, but today I realized that the upper right overlaid option has disappeared from the main topic view. I can add a picture when I edit the first post, but I can't reposition or remove it from the main topic view. 2 days ago I installed a custom modification that, in theory, is not related. Plus the modification does not work with the forums where Topic Cover is installed. Any thoughts of what could have happened here?

Today I installed this plug-in in 4.1.13.2 It doesn't seem to be working. It's blocking all the pages with a blank page and no visible message. could I be doing something wrong ? I already have 15 plug-ins installed, not sure if there could be a conflict.

Greetings, if I'm not mistaken in Gallery mode when you click on the image or the title, you always visit the 1st page. I think it's ok, since gallery mode has a particular use, different from the rest of the forum. Yesterday one of my regulars suggested me if you could add a tiny small button in gallery mode to either: go directly to the last page go directly to the last unread post (my favourite option) I know there is not a lot of room in gallery mode, but I think there is a point a here. When you have a topic with 50 pages, it's obvious that most participants will have already read the first pages and they might be eager to move on to the latest replies. Maybe you could add that small button close to the "comments" and "views" icons. It's just a suggestion. I also noticed when you hover the mouse in gallery mode over the small icons: "eye" & "comments" (I attach picture), you get this floating language bit: " tthumb_num_views" & "tthumb_forum_comments" I checked translations and I think those are missing.

Have you considered an ACP module where you could cron all kind of bumps ? It would be very very useful for an admin to control bumps through a cron. This way I could have a list of, for example, 10 or 20 topisc that I want to bump during the week. I could even charge users for bumping their topics, specially in my community that some topics are just classifieds. PS: I love this mod, it's very useful for my community since post owners can bump their topics without adding pointless posts

HI Onlyme, I have a doubt about this widget. I have an adult community. Can this product be used as one of those windows that warn guests that they are accessing an adult site and they have to be over 18+ ? Can this popup be shown to all the new guests ? and appear every 2 days ,for example, to all visitors independently ( I assume controlled by a cookie ) Can still the google bot search for the content in the website if the window shows to visitors ? Hi, I've installed and configured this application, and I have been reading to know if someone had suggested this, but I haven't seen anything. I'd like to select which groups can receive points and which groups can't. For example, moderators and admins. That data shouldn't even appear in their profiles because it adds a new tab on the profile page which leads to no content at all. Another solution could be making the points visible or invisible per group on the user information profile when posting.

I have just installed this plugin and I have the following issues: - it does not attach custom fields to the emails, only the main fields like: department, subject, email & messsage. The 3 custom fields I added were completely ignored to the emails. - it posts a message in the specified forum, but the message is empty. (user has permissions to post) I'm using 4.1.13.2 ... not sure if the widget might need an upgrade. I also had a problem with the url since my template was using url/index.php/contact/ instead of indes.php?/contacus/ I could solve that redirecting the FURL. I don't think it is related, but I wanted to point it out just in case. As suggestion, It would be nice to have a text field to provide some instructions to users, like " Do not use this form to report posts etc. | If you are reporting a thread, please don't forget to attach the URL etc."

I just installed version 1.06 on IPS 4.1.12.3 and it's ignoring when I click to use only the first image of the post. It's showing all images in every post.

Is there any chance that we could also have a different default text for the answers in the future ? I bought it, but I can't use it if I can't have answers in the topic also predefined with a template.

Hi Mike, I have 2 suggestions for this products. However, take them as suggestions from my experience. I think they are worth considering. 1. Can you make predefined selections or presets defined by the administrator ? in a combo box. So that the user could change the view at will but couldn't add custom forums. You could add the combo box in the homepage and main forum view and the user could swap presets using a combo. for example: you have a community with interests in pc and mac. That a predefined selection could display the pc forums only and another preset the Mac forums only But the administrator decides in the preset which forums belong to each preset. You save work for the user and you also help the administrator. 2. Can you add something more elaborated with a cookie for guests users ? same presets like before but they could be stored for the guest user of the web site. THis way a guest user that is only interested in mac, for example, would be able to set his view as a mac user. 3. [Minor Option]A small window to encourage guest user to select a preset. 4. [Minor Option] Same combo box in the register page so the new users can select a preset by default for them from the beginning This is one of the features that I'm most interested and could make me upgrade to version 4.

However, I honestly think it could be a nice addition to your system so I'm going to suggest it in case you might like the idea since this is a tag application. I'd like to filter forum threads by tags, like type of custom search, so the system would only show the threads that contain an specific tag. Each forum could have the option to show a small bar with the suggested or more common tags to filter the threads fast with one click. For example, imagine I have a recipe forum and each thread in one particular forum is a recipe users can comment. Assigning the right tags to the threads, we could have tags like: oven, sugar, easy, difficult, 1st dish, dessert etc. etc. So when users go the forum, they could have a set of, for example, 3 combos in a menu on top: one with elements necessary ( oven, microwave, pan ) another one with ingredients: "sugar, pepper, lemon, chicken etc." and another combo menu for types: "first dish, second dish or dessert" So people could fitler all threads (if properly tagged) with recipes "Desserts" only .... or recipes: "1st Dish" and ingregients "chicken" Details and complexity could be discussed later, but for now I just wanted to suggest this option and give a few thoughts. Not sure if this is even possible, or it already exists. or you are interested, but it's far too complex for the aim of this application. Regards
