  1. I can confirm that this works as intended. Thanks again. Great news that you will at least consider this.
  2. Awesome, look forward to the fix. As is your right to do so as the developer. That said, in this particular case, it's fairly binary. You can either create a new topic or link an existing one - I can't see any other option that anyone would need\want. Both use cases are valid and as far as enhancements go, this would be one that would please a lot of your customers. I sense a disturbance in the force with both user base and developer. I really hope you will reconsider.
  3. Would it be possible then to have the option? Also, what about the unrelated issue where tags are not being promoted with the article?
  4. I thought we agreed with having a user option to decide whether it's deleted or not which caters for both points of view? The other issue was that tags aren't being promoted with it.
  5. @stoo2000 any updates on when notification on feedback will be sorted? It's support ticket #246 on your site.
  6. @Adriano Faria any progress on this?

Nice, who did your forum icons?
  8. @Adriano Faria what ended up happening? Are we able to get the option to either use the original article or create new one? At the very least, any chance of an update to fix the tags not promoting with the article issue?
  9. I found the issue, it was the Advanced Feed plug-in that was removing the link.
  10. @Ryan H. Sidebar feed still not linking to topic for me
  11. @Tom Irons is it possible to also have it work with the advanced tag prefix?
  12. I just noticed that when a prefix is used, the default IPS sidebar for Topic listing no longer hyperlinks the topic title. Only seems to happen with topics using a prefix. <- Dar is not hyperlinked to go to the Topic
  13. Actually, not what I was expecting. It adds the prefix to the subject line rather than change the prefix that adv tags uses.
  14. Thanks. So it marks it sold as it would if you manually did it via advanced tags? I might give this a try.
  15. Does this work with Adv Tags & Prefix? I currently use that to mark items as sold manually but if this does the same thing would be good as a member self serve function. I just don't want to lose my coloured prefix from adv tags.

    It's via the +Create menu

All my awards are manual, I don't use automated awards at all. An example from our site, description could be Photo of the Month, reason could be February 2016 comp.
  18. Nice. I have a couple of issues. With the menu bar, it doesn't seem to truncate with the ...more option, rather it shows everything so the menu wraps and things go out of whack: With default IPS theme: Issue with Zeron: The second issue is when the IPS table helper is used, the alternative rows are unreadable as the background is too light (or text is too light): Note: I've used the trader feedback app as an example but this happens with any app that would use the IPS table helper.
  19. A good point, I guess I've never had this issue so don't know. What happens if you lock the article so you can't actually comment in the article hence forcing the comment to be posted in the topic thread?
  20. I use articles for static content that is useful as reference. The discussion continues in original topic and those posts show as comments in the article anyway.
