Can you restrict who sees it?

The variable doesn't get passed until it's published. They will all look like that in preview mode. You can always do a test distribution to yourself to confirm.

This is literally the only settings I changed for the content parts: You also need to put some static content into the header and footer sections like your logo etc.. Oh, don't forget to clear your cache and make sure you are running the latest version.

I've got an issue with the new gallery template where the watermark I use seems to cover the whole image. Is there anyway around this?

How is this enabled/used?

I've still got the old issue of when this plugin is enabled, any setting changes I do to my pages database don't actually save. If I disable just this one, setting changes save fine.

Upgrade went without a hitch, great work @opentype Would be good to also have a setting to disable the teaser text.

Thank you, all we needed to know is where this had been abandoned or not and it sounds like Raw has his priorities right and in the short term found someone to carry the baton so to speak. Good to see development continues and hope he sorts things out and returns soon.

It just seems to be more frequent on this platform or maybe that's just what I am perceiving. It doesn't bother me if a developer stops supporting their app, I just get put offside when they do this with zero communication to their paying customer base.

But here's the gotcha, Raw was like that in the beginning and actively supporting it and then gone. I have the same issue with a different app by a different author who was also active and now gone. Something is broken if good developers come, build and then not motivated to stay. Is there a migration path from iAwards to Trophies and Medals?

@-RAW- last visited September 7, 2016 @Morrigan last visited October 15, 2016 I'm not sure if they are even still working on this anymore?? A shame really as we seem to be seeing this over and over with what starts of as a great IPS4 app.

From the other post: It would be good to be able to apply groups filtering to it if we wanted some groups to be excluded from getting the truncated messages like moderators/admins for example.

Does it pull content based on user permissions? So, assume we select all forums but a couple are restricted. Will it omit those for members with no access?

I only just saw this after doing a clean install lol. Anyway problem is still there. Fresh install, created a new newsletter, left template blank. Preview HTML -> works as expected Test Distribution -> works as expected Publish Newsletter -> Hi {{member_name}}, is the first line of the email

Ok, so am I the only one experiencing this? I could try a full uninstall and reinstall tomorrow if that's the case?

Just to confirm, you did a publish correct? As it doesn't show on preview or test distribution. Only shows when published.

@HeadStand any ideas on the {{member_ name}} issue? I've created a brand new newsletter and on publish does the same.

This is where you are perhaps getting a little confused as to where the fault is. Content doesn't reside in the widget, it resides in the database. The widget simply pulls the content to display as required. As I mentioned above, a blank page is probably a php error for which you need to look at the php log to see what is causing it. Does this occur on your test site before you rolled it out to your live site? If it didn't what's different between your test site and live site?

It's a template, it doesn't touch the content so it's not possible to delete your pages by installing the template. It's like saying that installing a theme deleted all the forum posts. Blank page with no IPS branding is typical of a php error. You would need to check the php logs to see what's going on.
