Yes, sometime next week.

Not suggesting this as a replacement for normal ads, but as a stop-gap until that functionality gets implemented.

You're an absolute star, thank you very much - I'd never have figured that out!!
@Nicholas Cole Let us know if you can actually log into and use yours.

It occurred to me that the ability to use the app could be restricted by member group and that forum owners concerned about monetization could utilize this to push subscriptions and maintain ad revenue from non-subscribers.
Is that feasible or even reasonable?

My community has been approved for the mobile app, but which app should I download. The icon in the ACP links to Test Flight the Apple Store, which is fine but I don't have a developer invite to use it..
confused..
You're not alone! Took me awhile to figure out what the app was even called or where the "hidden" setting must be on the regular IPS app. The instructions should really be posted somewhere.
- Download Test Flight on your device.
- Copy the App Store Download URL from your ACP->Dashboard->Mobile App-> Settings section.
- Send (text, email, messenger) that URL to your phone.
- Open the URL and it should automatically bring open the Test Flight app and an option to download IPS Communities App.
Here is the link if others need it. I'm guessing it's OK to share in this forum as this is a client only section:

@bfarber Could we consider adding a few instructions to the "Your Community Mobile App Has Been Approved" email?

Not sure if this is related, or should be sent in for feedback, but having login issues on iOS as well.
@bfarber, is the bug report you're investigating on the Communities app?
I've been trying to login to my community on the new Communities app but haven't been able to all day.
I get the generic "Invalid Redirection URI Error Code: 2S361/2" error repeatedly.

@Adriano Faria thats odd. Guess it was a one time fluke!

This application appears to set all profile fields to "Show on Registration" when some were previously hidden. Just an FYI.

Clearing browser cache/history relieved the issue with the WYSIWYG boxes.
Still having log-in issues.

Best bet is to fill out a support ticket because there's no guarantee support will see this.
Done. I did a forum search as well but didn't see any definitive answers. Looks like it is a browser compatibility issue. I also noticed some WYSIWYG boxes not displaying in Safari while in the AdminCP panel.

Mobile Communities App & Monetization Idea

I don’t run ads, but if understand the issue correctly, the current app doesn’t properly distinguish between mobile and desktop/laptop. Apparently this is a terms of service issue for Google. As they have different rates and ads for desktop and mobile.
i could be mistaken though. Someone more abreast of the issue could probably tell you more.
