May have been a one off then.  If I can get it to duplicate, I'll see if I can force it a second time to make sure.  It's absolutely weird.

Looks like once it's fixed, it's fixed.  I tried to duplicate it with the same existing group and not happening again.

I do know that when I was noticing the issue, I was double checking that each group had very specific access and neither should have been granting access to see performance or settings, but they were indeed appearing.  Only fixed after I edited the "dashboard only" one to disable the functions separately.

Full process, I just mentioned the necessary steps, but saving each time.  Unless you mean to enable app, disable access, disable app, then save.  In that case I forget, but I can go double check.  Either way, the specific setting have to be restricted otherwise it doesn't restrict despite the entire app access being restricted.

Might just be a specific case scenario.

Create a couple of admin groups and restrict one to only have dashboard access and another to just have access to nexus/support tickets (but not settings or anything else).

Apply both as secondary groups.

In ACP/Commerce/Support area, Performance and Setting are still visible.  Edit the "dashboard only" group to enable commerce and disable all support settings (then disable access to it again) and save, issue is fixed.

 

 

This is still a mod for it.  Though yes, having it already a part of the built-in Two Factor Authentication already available would be great.

A blank white is typically a php error though of some description.

I'm gonna guess a 500 Internal server error (ISE).

If its not that, add this to initdata.php after the opening tag on a new line:

ini_set('display_errors',1);

Better to do that either in conf_global.php or constants.php. Never make changes to initdata.php unless you have to. Rule of thumb I try to follow anyways.

I keep getting this after doing a fresh install, creating a new API account on Google and I've got V2 and V3 enabled. Not sure what else I'm missing?

Create a new API key and try using that.

It's free up to a certain number of uses per day. But even then, from what I understand, they only start to charge if you're consistently going over that usage over a period of time.

That's to prevent someone from creating a link that will redirect to the 'mark board as read' link and thus tricking you into doing it unintentionally.

I think if possible, this would be a great feature to add.

How about this.. Per group colors and settings, so that the admin can decide to control access based on permission masks and/or member groups.

Doing colors based on level (instead of group) wouldn't be a good idea because if there are a lot of people with similar access, it would be hard to tell them apart just from a glance. Per group and you can have a colorful map. :)

Make sure that you uploaded the "admin" and "public" folders into the same place as your "conf_global.php" file is located.

Then inside the ACP, go to the Applications & Modules page, scroll down and it should be listed there with a read "Install" link on the right.

* When editing a location, if the description has line breaks in it (ie, pressing enter), they are converted to <br />'s and if they're not changed, then they will appear as <br />'s in the map.

An idea is as follows:

I have 5 links in 5 topics in my forum, a link to each topic, if I check the setting to open another window in the 5 previous links will not open in a new window, when we set the setting to Yes only the links that are posted after that will open in new windows.

That's how it is. Posts made before the option is turned on will still open in the current window, new posts (or edited posts) after the option is enabled will open in a new window/tab.

* Default zoom and position? Is this possible? So admin can set the default zoom and position of the map. Like in my case we have some funny members who wish to put the pins as far away from the other members pins, so we get a full world-map, instead of a zoomed in one. As we only allow pins in Thailand, but one or two members put their pins in say Canada for fun. Ya, you know how I mean.

I think that will be better suited as a template modification.

I think it would be a great idea to be able to specify the starting coordinates and how far to zoom into it.

I've altered slightly from the original plan, markers can be split into groups, each group can have their own colour pin and icon!

Cryptovirus has been looking for and reporting issues he finds on his own without compensation. The fixes, once rolled into IPB, benefit all of our customers (especially since he seems to be focusing on security-related things). Personally, I'm happy for him to look through the code and report any problems he finds so we can continue to deliver a secure, stable software for all of our customers.

Exactly. Which is why I appreciate his efforts. He could be like some others who have that knack, who go out and use it for the amusement it brings them when they cause grief for others. Instead, he finds the flaws and points them out so that the products are improved overall. I'm glad that he's doing it to help others, rather than hurt them. Not only that, but he's also easy to get along with and so far does his best to not abuse/mis-use flaws that he finds.

If you think someone is making new accounts to cheat, then you should be able to track it by comparing the IP's, the time of registrations, etc.

I think the lack of pricing information is misleading. It should be mentioned in the description that it's a free/demo version and to get the full product will cost money.
