For all of the fans who love clubs, here are some behind-the-scenes peek of Clubs in 4.3:

The new club index, featuring a world map of club locations.  I'm using the new "List View," which is great for a large number of clubs.  Notice how the STEM Club is "Read Only," which is the new type of club in 4.3.

Club Home features a standard "About" widget for basic information on the club, Activity Stream of all recent items, and map.  The club block in the sidebar is optional depending upon your ACP club settings.

Club Blogs featuring the new grid view and featured photos.

Club Files with a list of files like the normal IP.Downloads.  My first file "HD Kite Wallpapers" is actually linked to URLs for both the files and screenshots, which is an existing feature of IP.Downloads.

Club Images shows 2 albums.  You can upload images without assigning to albums too.  These albums can be linked into your Club's Calendar Event or Club Blog Entry for cross-integration.

Club settings showing the new Paid settings.  It costs $100 to enter my club with renewal fees of $100 every 365 days.  Kites are expensive.

Personally. I got IPB years ago before we lost our subscriptions. It was a big part of my forums. For a long time now, you want us to pay just to have that...and 4.3 isn't looking any better in that aspect. I don't want to sell all linds of things.
Subscriptions was taken away from us a while back and we should not have to buy something we don't need like Commerce to have it. VB and Xenforo both include subscriptions with the base forum script. Alwas did. Just like IPB used to.
Why can't you give us back what we paid for long ago by just including subscriptions in the base client?

Nice but $100 + $35 renewal is too expensive for me to just use for this feature alone

Superb update, thank you for these improvements! Nicely done!
I'd been holding back on enabling Clubs to one day bring in some possible revenue, so paid clubs is so welcome. You've clearly thought this out in terms of potential revenue for both site owners and members, great for member engagement and to give a little something back.
As many have said, Commerce just wasn't worth the outlay previously for just paid subscriptions only for many small communities.
Will there be any promotion available for Commerce (as 4.3 Clubs is bound to drive up demand!), will there be a more affordable 'Light version' of Commerce released supporting just paid subscriptions and Clubs or should we just buy now in preparation?

    With a little jiggery-pokery, yep.
The below plugin allows you to redirect members of a group to a specific url
So, if your ban process currently involves also manually moving banned users off to a group then you're golden.
If, however, your process doesn't currently involve also manually moving banned users to a group then you could use the Rules application by @Kevin Carwile to intercept the ban action to move a user to a group upon them being banned.

Assuming your hosting environment allows it, you can try adding this to your .htaccess file:
    <IfModule mod_headers.c> Header set Content-Security-Policy "upgrade-insecure-requests" env=HTTPS </IfModule>
It should automatically upgrade any insecure (http) request to https automatically, assuming the user is using an update web browser that supports this header. In the event that an external resource doesn't support https then it will fail to show, which will preserve your secure status.
