3.0 is on its way...
I have few mods on my site, if i upgrade my board to 3.0 probably those mods are not going to be ready for 3.0
Can i keep the old mods on the system until i get the upgrade scripts for those mods???
or new 3.0 upgrade will wipe those mods off?????

First thing first...
If you upgrading your UTF-8 site to 3.0.0,
YOU HAVE TO PUT THAT LINE ($INFO['sql_charset'] = 'utf8' ) INTO CONFIG FILE BEFORE STARTING UPGRADE PROCESS
Otherwise some of your database will be broken...


Then that will set the name utf8 and you are good to go... :)

Linking out is natural and is helpful to users of a site, especially on forums. Surely you'd want sites to give you a link back for your good content. Sites like Wikipedia and Youtube use it because they don't know how to prevent spamming or how to enforce their rules effectively. Putting nofollow still doesn't even prevent spam well enough against spam scripts...they just go to the next place.
