  1. Just a suggestion, but as someone who loves Zapier for helping with tasks and automation, I am super happy to have Invision's custom Zapier app and also wish it had a lot more. Currently, it is very much limited to triggers and not so much to actions. You can create a lot of things via actions, but not much else. There is also the find action which is really nice, but nothing to really follow up with what it finds. So here are some suggestions that I had. Trigger on Published status as a trigger: It is overly difficult to just set up a zap to trigger something being published when it comes to scheduled content. The dates are in the new content created sections, but it is numerous times easier to use an RSS feed from the site to trigger this than the actual site's Zapier. Trigger on Event Start: I have had no luck getting zaps to work by using the new event created and then using the dates months in advance to trigger a zap. The solution for me was linking my community calendar to a Google Calendar and using their Zap interaction to trigger on even start. Again, there are ways to do it, but oddly not great solutions within the actual Zap from Invision. Spam Tools (Flag as Spammer/Report Content/Hide Content): When dealing with a wave of spam that is getting past the built-in spam filters, it would be great to have Zaps as a backup to turn on. I can easily have a tool like ChatGPT read a new topic created from a new account and with solid accuracy answer if it is spam or not. In fact, I can even prompt it to look for any Airline Ticket Sales in the spam to limit possible mistakes. Then the Invision Zap can even find the member who posted it.... but then it ends. I could send a notice message to myself that spam is happening, but that really defeats the purpose of automation. Allowing the Zap to act on content would open up a huge tool bag of anti-spam tools. Changing User Groups: It would be really nice to have the actions that happen on one app be able to influence the user groups of users in my community. Edit Blocks: Blocks are one of my favorite pieces of Invision Community and being able to automatically edit the content in these blocks via Zapier would be a huge asset! From something as simple as replacing a link when a YouTube or Twitch goes live, to linking a block to an Excel spreadsheet for daily messages, placing sales in promotional blocks, or even mirroring messages across sites, etc. etc. the possibilities are endless. This would greatly increase a community's ability to automate holiday stuff, sales, and so on. Again, I do enjoy the actual Invision Community Zapier app, but I have to admit in the roughly 25 zaps that I use with my community, only about 5 use the actual app designed for Invision.
  2. A better system would be awesome, but you can add og images to custom pages via the meta tag editor in the Admin CP. It works well for a handful of pages, but would be tedious for a large list. @Marc Stridgen it would be really nice to have the meta tag editor built into the block editor for working with live pages that don't have a database. That way I can just add the details I want when creating the page.
  3. "Remember to publish your GDPR message using a Google-certified CMP to continue showing AdSense ads on your site in the EEA and the UK. If you don't publish it by January 16, 2024, we'll publish one for you." This is the message many of us are likely getting from Google Adsense. I saw an old topic that Invision was discussing internally and was wondering about any updates. I know we can use the Google one, but it is basically a full-screen of Google Terms and Google Logos and not exactly what most want to see jumping onto a website.
  4. When trying to sell ad space, there does not appear to be any to specify the exact size of an image. I see you can set a maximum size, but that would allow people to upload a 20x20 box where a leaderboard is designed to fit on the site. This seems like a strange approach and easily fixable by also allowing setting a minimum size. Of course and exact size or ratio setting would also be great. Unless I am missing something here.
  5. With numerous new GDPR laws going into affect and even AdSense starting to push all sorts of consent hurdles and new rules along the way (plus the general annoyance of data tracking and just dealing with more third party cookies that now need all sorts of listings and such). I was wondering if it was safe to say that selling ads via Commerce was sticking around for 5. I know it was only listed as digital products going away, but I'd rather be safe and ask a dumb question then get burned by a feature change in a few months after switching my methods. Thanks
  6. I really like this feature setup! As an end-user on platforms like Reddit and those "Q&A sites", I always find myself seeing the best answer or most upvoted answer and still wanting a bit more information! This seems like a great solution for that issue for my end users now. P.S. I still hope articles are redone to look a bit nicer without 3rd party tools on a homepage. I'll beat that dead horse all day here 😅
  7. This all looks so good! Although I'm still super excited to see how Pages and Databases will be designed and hope they have a modern feel to them with category images, a less "database feeling" record layout, and such as well!
  8. Honestly, the experience for me as been pretty great. They had that major downtime earlier this year and now this, but overwise I run at 100% up time every month. I use updown.io as it is one of the cheaper solutions to track my uptime and I'd recommend a service like that for your site to give a more reportable data set.
  9. Between the IPS Cloud outages, the glances that I have seen look very good! I hope this project takes off as a central point for 3rd party tools was what made the marketplace great!
  10. Everything seems good now. It was just the one site and mostly seemed like it did not want to load images. Got hung up on the Invision CDN stuff a lot.
  11. My site has been cluggin' along today a few times and is basically unusable due to loading times every now and then. Just wondering if something is going on with the backend.
  12. I am very much hoping this arrives with IC5 as it is super annoying to be unable to adjust videos in posts.
  13. Sometimes I'm not smart 😅 That does correct this issue.
  14. Hello, I have noticed that when I set topics for future publish, they still get sent to the RSS feed the moment they are submitted. The published date is correct, but I do not believe this should be the intended action as RSS readers will try to pull the topic asap. E.g. for the devs: This Topic is already listed on This RSS
  15. Hello, I have always used the forum option with my records in some databases to create a forum topic for those records. I also used the topic for the comments and such. A while back I changed how this was done and no longer used the topics, so I deleted the old topics. Now I would prefer to return to using topics for the comments, but there does not appear to be a way to return the topics themselves. I tried the rebuilding options that state they will create a new topic if one does not exist, but that does not appear to work in this case. Any advice or am I out of luck?
  16. The new pricing is pretty good. Granted, I am curious as to how current packages will work. A blog on this would have been super nice.
  17. Still unable to complete the task on both sites. Tried clearing the cache and different browsers.
  18. I have been trying to add a video to my page's media manager to add as a video to a page, but I cannot get it to upload on both of my cloud sites. Both these sites seem to upload it without issue, but when I click "upload" it kicks me to the home of the media page and no video is found. I tried with images and they continue to work fine and I tried uploading videos on non-cloud sites and those work fine. Here is a video of what is happening: Screen recording 2023-06-05 13.11.39.webm
  19. Once it is mounted, just add the folder into the Admin CP in System -> Files -> Storage Settings (Top Right) -> Configuration Then you can go back to System -> Files -> Storage Settings (Top Right) and change all the resources you want offloading onto the mounted drive. I have never tried this with a mounted drive myself, but no reason it should not work.
  20. Yes, this is possible within the club's app itself. You do have to enable paid clubs and then allow user groups to create paid clubs. I also have Commerce installed on my sites, but it does not appear to require it (but I am not sure). EDIT: Actually I now believe they do require Commerce as the settings use Commerce's payment methods.
  21. This is certainly something I'd get behind. It would vastly improve monetization on articles and even help with readers as you can simply add a block of additional information through your news or whatever.
  22. Wait.. wait.. wait... Physical goods and the support ticket system are going away? Are we going to be able to add Shopify and Zendesk to the cloud system or do we need to integrate a whole bunch of services that basically defeat the entire purpose of a cloud suite? I have much less need for a paid lesson market than helping a user with a question.

I will toss in my hat to say that SendGrid is worth the $20, but I also agree that the bulk mail needs a refresh for sure. All of those features would be a plus and I'd actually say a scheduler would be awesome. Not even going to get into fancy features like including the most recent ABC or most popular ABC with simple prompts.
  24. Oh yes, that would actually be a great idea. I actually didn't know this was a thing 😅
  25. It should, but we are talking about AWS here and customers are not exactly at the top of their list. Invision staff keeping us updated on what Amazon is doing is a noble goal, but just like most admins don't know what is happening at their server's data center... IPS is kind of stuck with the rest of us.
