Dear,
Im currently stuggling with my forum. Long story but a read-only mode looks like a good idea. Is there a plugin / application or option to change the security rights to read only? Or do i need to change every group on all the forums one by one?
Thank you.
Or everyone back to a guest mode

We can create a ticket only with the account on file. I have just responded to that again so you get the email
Still nothing, also nothing in the spam.
I never had any email issues with other customers btw.

When i disable Google it works... is there someting broke with Google login after the 4.7.2 update?
-
Ok thanks.
I'm hosting the server myself. The thing is this did not happen before the 4.7.2 upgrade.
I can fix it now by disabling CWAF. But it could be a heads-up for IPB. -
For now i disabled CWAF in the web application firewall (ModSecurity).
Any idea? It happends since the upgrade.

Dear,
After the upgrade to 4.7.2 the site is offline one every 5 minutes for a few seconds. I upgraded to 4.7.2.1 and to PHP version Version 8.0.19.
But it still happends. This is in the logging all the time:

What is happing now?

They've been warning about this for some time now. Every upgrade in recent times which checks server specs has included a warning that you will be required to update to PHP 8.x+ at some point, which is precisely why I upgraded to 8.1.x almost two months ago.
The PHP upgrade is not the issue.....

This is something that has to be done unfortunately as there are unrecoverable issues in PHP 8 that can be caused. However we have updated the upgrade notes to make this more clear. You can read more about this here
Could you please accept the updated "links" application... it was uploaded 23 hours ago.

I’m not from IPS, mate. I can’t tell you that.
Ok,I hoped you know it takes 24 hours normally or something.
I can't wait like 3 days... Then I'll need to revert the server. Thanks man.
-
@Adriano Faria do you know how long the review can take? Links is one of the mail applications that is offline now. Thanks.

I've been running 8.1 for months now. Why are some of my apps locked to prevent fatal errors if they were already compatible?
Also why wasn't there any mention of this in the update list? The update just said Improvements to marking posts as solutions. I assumed it was a small update. I would say moving to php 8.x compatibility is a pretty key feature.. What's the point in showing anything if you aren't going to show anything useful?
Now I have 3 major apps that are the center of my community disabled waiting for updates that could potentially take weeks. It's just another failure after the next with these recent updates. Very truly ashamed how much IPS has devolved over the years.
Same issue here... this is insane 😞
