  1. Just got off the phone again with my host and got a 3rd support person and they said to put it in the .htaccess file but no guarantees it will work there either and php.ini is definately not allowed on their shared servers, so I wonder why all these years I never got that notification BEFORE upgrading to 4.7.2.1????
  2. Can't seem to get rid of this problem. Have talked to host support, first support person said need to create php.ini file and placed this in the public_html folder disable_functions = "exec,system,passthru,pcntl_exec,popen,proc_open,shell_exec" did not work, called host back, got different support person and they stated "oh, we don't allow php.ini on a shared server" so need to make a .users.ini file with the same code as above. That did not work either still got notification in the acp. I then placed the .user.ini in the forum folder did not work, placed the php.ini in the forum folder did not work. It is my understanding that the disable_functions does not work in a .user.ini file? This problem only started after upgrading to 4.7.2.1 from 4.5 version How do I get this problem solved???? Please don't tell me I get no support because I am on a self-hosted site as I have a license and have for 20 years! Thanks
  3. All fixed, nevermind Was my hosting server, had some kind of failure all good now.
  4. IPS support, all of a sudden my main site went offline! Please help Thanks
  5. So looking at that "long" phpinfo file if the disabled functions are not showing as one of the bolded headings it means it has been disabled? Thnaks
  6. Never mind the disable scheduler as members don't see that.
  7. no and while you are asking is there a way to disable that?
  8. How do you check to see if the Dangerous PHP Functions Enabled have actually been disabled? I x'd to hide the notification as it has been in the acp for a while, so how do I check to see if my host actually fixed it? Thanks
  9. This is what the "BackTrace" says... #0 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/system/Content/Comment.php(503): IPS\Patterns\_ActiveRecord::load(49) #1 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/applications/forums/sources/Topic/Post.php(575): IPS\Content\_Comment->item() #2 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/applications/core/extensions/core/Queue/RebuildSearchIndex.php(167): IPS\forums\Topic\_Post->isFutureDate() #3 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/system/Task/Task.php(47): IPS\core\extensions\core\Queue\_RebuildSearchIndex->run(Array, 293500) #4 /home xxx/public_html/forums/applications/core/tasks/queue.php(43): IPS\_Task::runQueue() #5 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/system/Task/Task.php(375): IPS\core\tasks\_queue->IPS\core\tasks\{closure}() #6 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/applications/core/tasks/queue.php(55): IPS\_Task->runUntilTimeout(Object(Closure)) #7 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/system/Task/Task.php(274): IPS\core\tasks\_queue->execute() #8 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/system/Task/Task.php(237): IPS\_Task->run() #9 /home/xxx/public_html/forums/system/Dispatcher/Standard.php(334): IPS\_Task->runAndLog() #10 [internal function]: IPS\Dispatcher\_Standard->__destruct() #11 {main} I wonder if all these errors were caused because the forum was left online while the upgrade occurred? I have had problems with the online/offline switching itself!
  10. I have 47 pages of System Error Logs all saying the same thing - what happens if I click the "Fix This" in the ACP? This all happened on the same day I upgraded to4.7.2.1
  11. Just heard from the author and his update was denied because his license has expired, shame was a good plugin.
  12. Well, the author says he submitted it, and shows it was updated last Sunday? Someone care to update this plugin, very useful when having to correct newbies registration mistakes!
  13. Can IPS staff tell me why this plugin has not been approved yet for 4.7?
  14. Another great app by All Astronauts! Highly recommend No need for "offline indicator" if the online indicator is not showing you know they are not online
  15. Thanks for the response Jim, any idea why each set of Statistics are different in there numbers display?
  16. My forum statistics block shows 694.3k posts how do I get the numbers to show 694,382 posts? The member statistics shows the "long" numbers why not the forum statistics? Thanks
  17. Is there any way to mass delete Notifications that pile up other than one by one? If not is there anyone that cares to make one for 4.7 ? Thanks
  18. Thanks again for the latest update, perfect the way it is!
  19. Nevermind, I was confused by the images with the plugin thinking I could choose what I wanted, the plugin just removes the "Products" which is what I wanted. Thanks!
  20. Thanks Randy, Adriano to the rescue (as always) but I don't see how to remove anything as there is no "Edit" for the plugin - where is this accomplished?
  21. How do I remove the "Products" from the search drop-down in 4.7. I have no products and don't need it there to confuse members. Thanks
  22. After all these years users with iphones uploading pics are still upside down, just happened on my forum again and exif is enabled with PHP 8.0
  23. I just switched IPS 4.7.2.1 to PHP 8.0 and classifieds works fine Don't know what happened to InvisionHQ but he has not logged in here for 3 weeks now
  24. Thanks a bunch Jim, I added the missing modules to PHP 8 in cPanel and found the culprit was the "Online Indicator" old plugin and all seems well now!
