If you really want to control the opinions or questions about one of your products, than I might suggest, dropping the forums, and only allow users to post to the Market Place after they have bought the product, because you have to actually buy the product to post a question (review).
If I have questions about a product, I will not buy it until all my questions are answered. Just because you don't like the questions posted doesn't mean you should come back with a personal attack on one of your clients.

Well, ok. However I just don't see how these to will work seamlessly without bringing the two together. Maybe he needs to be adding a function in that the Members Country function does?
For me, I won't install two separate apps for this one function.

I'm saying you need to integrate both tools so they are working together. When a user registers they need to be automatically added to the members map. It all needs to work together. Your Members Country automatically detects the country where a user is registering from, and Members Map does not. The current members map is a user specified option to be added. Both apps need to be working together and this might mean you may need to start from scratch to give end users that function. Plus the original programmer of Members Map isn't showing any interest in updating, other than saying in the future.

This also happened to me and I had to request a refund. Damn shame because its a very nice theme. Hope they can get this fixed. Tutorials is a MUST for my site.
Can you elaborate a little more on 'theme is pretty messed up'?

It's a little disheartening to see developers splitting these seemingly trivial tasks like this into multiple modules, and its not just this developer. It a few years its just going to get crazy keeping up with all these modules.
    Pinned Topics & Pinned posts
I think the developer would get a more favorable response it the above two were in the same module.
    Just my two cents...

It also appears on stats widget. I'll fix it for next version.

That's just not an acceptable answer for those of us that were early adopters of IPB 4. You actually want us to loose months of user data. This should have been taken care of when IPB moved from utf8_unicode_ci to utf8mb4_unicode_ci . We trust IPS to do what is right to keep their clients up to date with the latest releases. If the latest releases IPB has had a default character set change there should be a way for IPS's paid clients to benefit from that change, and advancing along with everyone else on the same playing field.
It seems to me that IPS should jump ahead of this and create a conversion script for its clients. This not only fixes future problems, but will also lessen support tickets.
Or better yet can we create a ticket for this. The majority of independent IPS clients are comfortable with running MySQL scripts.

Stop spreading these false information. The UTF8 type is a user-choice during installation or upgrade. There is no “automatic” conversion, because that wouldn’t even work, e.g. when your database runs on MySQL 5.1. In addition, your are not “stuck” with UTF8. Its YOUR MySQL database on YOUR server. You can do whatever you want with it. If you are not able to, maybe you should better move to IPS’ clould solution. But don’t expect IPS to become your server admin.
