    Spacious ACP 4
Better visibility! More information! Totally Customizable!
    Now includes Spacious Widgets!

Originally I wanted an ACP theme that would display more options/information on a smaller sized laptop screen (i.e. 1600x900) and provide some customization. I've now re-written Spacious to be a more well-rounded modern look rather than focusing almost exclusively on compact information display. The result is a customizeable ACP that still retains the denser information views of the older versions. Trust me, you want this.
More compact primary and secondary menus to fit more more menu options on the screen at a time. Reduced icon sizes as well. Header, primary, and secondary menu background colors fully changeable. Header, primary, and secondary menu font colors fully changeable. Removes the section header background and enlarges the section title for a clean modern look. Margins reduced across the board, interior tab elements styled more compactly. Change the name of the ACP to whatever you want. Latest IPS news and Admins Online widgets have been altered for better display. Optional modern-style dashboard widget format. New look for ACP warnings and new version announcements are now a single alert bar you click to expand to a details modal. No more wall of text destroying the dashboard! Subtle animation effect when moving between ACP areas. Feels app-like! Other under-the-hood changes... New in Spacious ACP 4: Login page customization!
    Introducing Spacious Widgets!

The Spacious ACP theme comes with bonus dashboard widgets to fill in the gaps left by the rather lackluster IPS dashboard widgets. Includes:
System Overview: Realtime server load, IPS installation size, IPS database size, memory available (or free), storage space available, options for Community in the Cload customers, and more!
Gallery Overview: Mostly a rework of the default Gallery widget but with better formatting and it now displays the four most popular images in the Gallery.
Forum Statistics: The most glaring IPS ommission. You get not only the usual topic counts but 24 hour, 7day, and 28 day lookback totals. An 8 week compact bar graph to see how your community is trending. All that again for topic responses, totalled separately from topic first posts. Top three topic starters and responders with thier respective totals.
Member Statistics: Member count of course but inludes the 24 hour, 7 days, and 28 days members active count. See how many members are actually using your forums on a regular basis! Also counts members that have not visited your forums in over 6 months. Members online, guests online, and new members over the last 7 days as well.
System Errors: Lists last five system errors so you can actually see what problems are occuring under the hood. Direct links to error reports and system error page.
SimilarWeb: A website ranking/tracking service. Two SW default widgets for tracking visitor types and relative rankings, embedded in a single IPS dashboard widget. The rankings widget can have two additional websites added for tracking alongside your own site.
Alexa: Get your Alexa ranking (for whatever that's worth...) right in your dashboard. Both global and national. Updates on a 7 day basis and flags trending up or down from previous check.
Future Widgets? Downloads, Blogs, and Commerce will probably have "something" done in the future but it will be awhile. As far as the next new widget goes it will be a Database Health widget.

For a full rundown on all the widgets plus what's on tap for additional Spacious ACP and Spacious Widgets changes and addons please read the Support Topic.

    Installation:
For Spacious ACP install the .xml file as a new theme under Customization in your ACP. Please remove any previous Spacious ACP theme you may have installed. This is a totally new re-write and you should NOT upgrade the old theme. Be sure to assign permissions for the theme to Admins only. As before, this is exclusively an ACP theme; not a front end theme. To change the Spacious ACP settings just edit the theme settings as you usually do. All the Spacious options are under the Spacious ACP tab within that area; you may edit the other options (default theme options) but they may or may not have any effect.
For Spacious Widgets install the .tar file as a new Application. All configuration of Spacious Widgets can be found under it's own menu option which you will find under the Customization tab in the ACP. This is where you can configure the System Overview widget if you are a Community in the Cloud customer, change the SimilarWeb widget settings to add up to two additional websites to track alongside yours, and change the appearance of the ACPlogin page.
To add the new widgets to your dashboard just click the add button on the dashboard, choose and then drag them where you want them to be. Be aware that both Forum and Member Statistics only support the large display widget area. All the others can be used in the large or small areas.

    Support:
In the support topic. This initial release will have some quirks with responsive css on Phone view plus left-to-right language support is pretty much nil right now. Also language bits. I need to add more variables so you can at least translate some stuff in the widgets.

    Notes:

Some of the new widgets give you a sampling of statistical information you probably want about your site and though you can request that I add some things of this nature to Spacious Widgets they will probably NOT be added as that will require storing substantial information in the database. That's well beyond the scope of an ACP theme and some addon widgets. Better off in a separate application where it can be done right.
Keep in mind that in some server/hosting situations some data I try to read for the System Overview widget may not be accessible. Do not buy this if the Server Overview widget is the only thing you are interested in. No refunds will be approved due to some elements of that widget not working correctly on your site.

    Cost/Allowed Use:
$10/$5 every six months. Basically $10 a year once you get going for a customizable ACP and a bunch of new dashboard widgets (with more on the way!). Feel free to skip a renew if you must but if you skip more than one renewal and try to renew more than a year later and I may just have you buy it outright again. Renewals keep us devs going! Licensed for your IPS site bound to your IPS account plus any/all dev boards (localhost or otherwise). Other sites should/need to get their own licensed copy of Spacious ACP.

    Kitchen Sink
All the things you want changed or restored in one single plugin! Everything including as they say...
Restores topic stats! Topic authors can always edit first posts! Customize the breadcrumb! Remove the Create menu! Better IPS update notifications! Change the lightbox! More!
    Why?
There are many small things with the IPS suite that need to be customize-able or restored from the 3x series. I could write a bajillion single-use plugins or I can put some effort into it, pile them all into one plugin, and make a few bucks for the work (and she is wrapping up her second cancer in three years so yes, money good...)

    So this includes...?
    Global:
Customize the breadcrumb! Remove the last element, swap out the home icon, etc. Control appearance of Mark Site Read and Unread Content (just words, just icons, or move them out of the breadcrumb to the user menu). Square up the appearance of the search entry area. Customize the light box! Full screen effect? White instead of black? Yes! Userbar:
Disable the Create menu. Replace the Create menu appearance with just a FontAwesome icon. I recommend fa-pencil. Remove all horizontal separators in the userbar. Change the member menu dropdown link. Leave it as the default avatar and member name, just member name, or just avatar. Calendar:
When you scroll down, the view title (day, month, week, etc.) is pinned to the very top edge of the browser. Adds padding to make it look much better. Square up those calendar and event tags from those rounded monstrosities. Make the cover photo header area for events much bigger (larger event title font too). Forums and Topics:
Restores the 3x series topic count statistic on forum index views. Yes, it's back! Can choose to display post count, topic count or both on forum index views. Add a locked icon badge in front of topic titles in topic view when a topic is locked (similar to pinned and featured posts). Change start new topic, moderator option, etc. links in topic view to appear as buttons instead of text links. Disable reply to topic button if you like (no one really uses it anymore...) Fully customize-able new posts separator in topic view. Set some basic info in custom.css and then use the full editor here to add content!  Change number of topics listed per page on forum view (same as one of my free plugins). First posts:
Allow all topic authors to edit their first posts regardless of any edit time restrictions in the ACP. You can even configure this on a per-forum basis! Post view:
A bunch of structural options. Hide the multi-quote button. Move the quote and/or edit buttons under the options menu. Change the options menu to a single gear icon. IPS Upgrades:
For admins with permissions to view upgrade announcements this replaces the full page width upgrade announcement header with a pulsing download icon in the userbar. Clicking it displays a popup with the complete upgrade information.
(The pulse is sped up for the gif. It's slower on normal upgrades; security upgrades will pulse faster but not this fast (and they pulse red!)
I've probably forgotten some stuff. And there is more to come too!

    Questions
Can I ask for something to be changed or included?
Yes, absolutely! That's kind of the whole point of this. There are some basic rules though. If I think it is too involved, or I think that once I start it that it would be better off as it's own plugin I'll pass. Just ask in the support topic and we'll go from there. I decide in the end, you may or may not like my decisions...
What if IPS changes something and...
If they add something into the suite that I fixed/added here then it will probably be removed from Kitchen Sink. No need to duplicate functionality. If something in this plugin breaks due to a change in the IPS Suite I'll of course try to fix it if it is fixable. Or I might remove it until it can be fixed; I expect things to change over the years - you should too.
    Seems to be forums heavy...
Yep. I can only target what I'm most familiar with. If you need something with the other applications speak up! The focus of this plugin is on the Core, Calendar, and Forums. I can fold in some stuff from the other apps if they are small things but otherwise I've got something else in the works for Gallery, Commerce, and Downloads (yes, another all in one...probably).
    Anything on the ACP side?
No but... Spacious ACP! Get that! Especially since I'm due to rewrite it and it will include a Kitchen Sink-like plugin to tackle any ACP things that need to be done!
This <feature> isn't working on my site!
If you have custom.css that conflicts, or your custom theme has moved elements around, and so on, there is not a lot I can do. I can give you some help in the support topic but the further you (or theme authors) move away from the default IPS structure the harder it will be for plugins to work. Most of Kitchen Sink should work for everyone. I do not support modified themes but I'll lend a hand as I can time permitting. This plugin is FULLY tested on a fresh 4.1.12.1 installation of the IPS suite with no other plugins loaded and no custom.css.
    What's next?
If I don't release Kitchen Sink now I would never release it as I would always be waiting to add "just one more thing..." But yes, there is stuff already marked for inclusion. I recently took over a ton of Adriano's free work. Most (all?) will remain free but updates and new features are likely to be folded into here or the revised Spacious ACP.

    Cost
$10 to buy, $5 every six months. That's $8.50 and $4 to me after IPS fees. Regular renewals keep me perky enough to want to support this wonderful monster. Your renewals get you support, bug fixes, and new features too! You don't have to renew of course but if you lapse too long I might make you just buy it outright again.

    Terms
One buy, one site. Feel free to use on your test site if you have one of course. If you lapse on renewals so long that I tell you to buy it again that does NOT mean you now have licenses to two separate copies.

    Thank You!

Just a bump to let everyone know this is all prepped for 4.2. I'll stick it in the marketplace when the release candidates hit (or final if they skip those). Don't bother running this in 4.2 right now. The version avail in the marketplace is fine for the widgets component but the theme is way broke with the changes IPS made to the ACP,
FYI in the near-ish future IPS will be removing the ability for the ACP to have customizable themes. No worries - I'm in the process of moving all the Spacious ACP theme stuff into the Spacious Widgets app. At which point since this will just be a single thing again I'll rename it to just Spacious or Spacious ACP. Won't happen by the 4.2 release but soon after.

    3) I believe IPS incorporated this into 4.2
    1) See attached, coming in 4.2 KS. (there is something attached but IPS forums are broken right now and not displaying anything - smells like something Cloudfront is cooking)

    FINAL 4.1.x UPDATE!
No version change, just wraps up that last bug thing mentioned above.  4.2 version is just about done. The only things left are the follow button stuff and I'm not sure what to do with the "Add the last post datetime to the section title on topic view?" as that section title line is now gone. A div appears once pagination kicks in but otherwise...
Outside of those things KS is 4.2 ready.
Price increase with 4.2. $12 to $15 to get in depending on how drunk I am when I release the 4.2 version. Renews the same $5.

Went ahead and added background images to the login page. All the usual Spacious settings are in play including color changes (backgrounds, buttons, and text), adding text, etc. You can also toggle the login box  background transparency: solid,80%, and 50%.
This all for the upcoming 4.2 release.

Spacious ACP good to go for 4.2. All the usual color changes plus you can change the hardcoded ACP orange buttons to whatever you like.
Additional dashboard buttons are back in business as well.
Naturally, the current release in the Marketplace is still only for 4.1.x but we'll be set for 4.2 on release.

    Kitchen Sink 12 Released!
Fixes Classifieds Application incompatibility Patches the above editable topic titles bug Adds forum descriptions to forum titles in forum index views Can now remove both multi-quote and quote buttons from post view. Yell at me if the edit first posts thing is still broken.
Forum descriptions are created in the ACP with the full editor, not a plain text field. This KS feature is just pulling over whats there so expect the hottest of messes if you routinely use images and formatted text for your forum descriptions. This is only a convenience feature I've included for those of you who just use text exclusively for your forum descriptions and is not supported for rich-formatted text/image forum descriptions.

As note in the updated KS Marketplace description, KS is still supported and under development but it's more or less in a holding pattern until we get the 4.2 alpha. As you can imagine there will be a lot of work to remove/change KS stuff when 4.2 hits so I'm investing my dev time as wisely as I can until then.

    1) If you haven't used the Alexa widget before you will need to run the new task manually to kick start it *OR* just wait 24 hours for the task to get around to running.
    2) Widgets that have a Google Chart "Sparkline" will render a little goofy sometimes when you initially drag them onto the dashboard. Just refresh the page.
    3) Make sure you check out the Spacious Widgets settings page - in the ACP it's under Customization - Spacious Widgets - Settings. For the theme settings, as usual, that's under Customization - Themes. Choose Spacious ACP 6 and then click the pencil icon to bring up the theme settings. All the Spacious options are under, you guessed it, the Spacious tab.
    4) The Member Statistics widget has a detailed dialog popup with a Goggle Chart donut chart of your entire registered member horde. I'm not rendering it as a called method but including it in the widget as a hidden DOM element and then popping it up when you click the info circle bits. Some Google Charts get weirded out when they are rendered between hidden/displayed state. In this case the donut chart percentages when displayed on the donut break way outside the boundaries. So I turned them off for now. Just hover over the donut to get the details on a slice. I'll get around to making this better later.
    5) Most (all?) of the sparklines you see are showing you 8 weeks worth of data and then the attached three numbers displayed are the last three weeks.
    6) The lowercase 'i's you see are links to the popup dialogs.
Hit me up with any bugs or problems. There are bound to be some. Database widget is a first pass. Thinking about what to include without it becoming a major thing.

    Spacious 6 Change Log
    Spacious ACP Theme:
CHANGE! The modern widget look has been improved.
FIX: Login page login box positioning.
CHANGE! Pagetitle size dropped just a touch.
    Miscellaneous tweaks.

    Spacious Widgets:
    All:
CHANGE! Tamped down use of bold fonts for a quieter look.
CHANGE! CSS spun out into widget-specific files (cleaner implementation due to how IPS loads in Dashboard CSS).
NEW! Option for flat, modern-styled dialog popup headers. Font and background colors configurable. Configurable in Spacious Widget settings.
NEW! Optional buttons on Dashboard including Tasks, Administrators and Moderators Logs, and Clear Caches/Data Store. Configurable in Spacious Widget settings.
    Alexa:
FIX: Better handling of pulling/parsing your site name.
CHANGE! Data pull from Alexa is now an IPS task. Runs once a day.
    SimilarWeb:
FIX: Better handling of pulling/parsing your site name.
    Forum Statistics:
NEW! Sparkline-like trend lines (Google Charts)
CHANGE! User avatars in place of names for a cleaner look.
NEW! Many statistics now have their own dialog popup with large graphs and more details.
    Miscellaneous tweaks.
    Member Statistics:
NEW! Google donut chart to graph out your membership.
NEW! New members over time now expanded - over more time plus Sparkline-like trend lines.
NEW! Average member age. Configurable. This will never be truly accurate but at least you have something...
CHANGE! User avatars in place of names for a cleaner look.
NEW! Many statistics now have their own dialog popup with large graphs and more details.
    Miscellaneous tweaks.
ENHANCEMENT! The built-in IPS "Most Members Online" statistic only updates if you have the widget active on your IPS site somewhere. I added a task to ensure this is always updated whether you have that widget active or not.
ATTN: The full member dialog popup has a larger donut chart but does not display the percentages for each slice unless you click/hover on a slice. This is due to how Google Charts instances elements that are hidden on DOM creation. Simply put, the controller has difficulty reading in div heights/widths leaving some notational elements rendering outside their containers. I'll need to tackle this later but for now just live with it
    Recent System Errors:
CHANGE! Now displays only the last 7 days of errors. This widget now cleans out much faster when you are running with no errors.
    System Overview:
FIX! Server load now decimalized to one place instead of a bajillion places.
    NEW! Server up-time display.
    NEW! Server idle percentage display.
NEW! Server IP address added to the More Details dialog popup.
    NEW Database Overview Widget!
NEW Most Active Topics Last 3 Days Widget!

I think I got the point, guys... not working with 4.1.19. It was just released 21 hours ago. A little patience please.
From what @Meddysong says, this is being caused by a bug in 4.1.19. You'll either need to upload the patch file given here to fix it, or wait for 4.1.19.1. Thanks Meddysong.

It should be working now. It was bugged in the 4.1.18 BETA 3, but Mark fixed the bug this morning prior to the official final release of 4.18
If you had the beta installed upgrade to the final release now. And even though all the caches and datastore stuff should be reset might not be a bad idea to hit the support tool to clear everything again.

If you had the beta installed upgrade to the final release now. And even though all the caches and datastore stuff should be reset might not be a bad idea to hit the support tool to clear everything again.

@Mark fixed the template bug this morning prior to the official release of 4.1.18 so everything should be good to go.
Let me know if there are any bugs that crop up or missing features, especially in the top section of topics as a lot has changed there recently.

I can take a look. Also, maybe poke this guy to expand this a bit:

Make sure KS is enabled and let me know. Then I can make the correct the correct css for you when I look at your site.
I do have at least one of Ehren's themes. The conflict is that that nav bar isn't stock anymore. There is a new div wrapper, then the social icons are floated to the right in that div, and then the IPS breadcrumb nav is inserted in the div. Solveable problem, just need a few minutes now that I see you need the entire thing handled and not just the stuff on the right.

This will be specific to your theme or any alterations that you made.
Since I allow you to move those bits around I have to allow for a "Default" setting and the IPS default is both of those bits, thats why they have re-appeared. If this isn't a theme-based change then just making sure KS is at the top of the plugin list should fix things.
Either way, just add this to your custom.css
.ipsBreadcrumb [data-action="markSiteRead"] { display:none; } That should remove that bit. If it doesn't just PM your site adress so I can look at the page directly and then I can give you the correct css.
In a future KS update I will separate both of these elements out instead of treating them as a single entity. That way you mess with "mark site read" and "unread content" individually.

Done (as in yes, it's done). Next update.

This was all actually fixed before but there are still some minor irregularities in how the CSS files are imported. What works while in-dev might not parse correctly when the plugin is imported elsewhere. This mainly occurs when you have if-then logic in the css file.
I moved a few things, made a few of those if-then checks a little bit syntactically tighter and that seemed to solve the problem/s.
