  1. I have noticed the Adverts Feed hook doesn't follow the same formatting as the Feed hook within the Classifieds application. When used on the main community page, the thumbnails are smaller (than in the application, and than thumbnails of other applications' feed) and the titles are not being trimmed. Is it something that could be fixed?

  2. I had the same problem, installed the 1.2.8 version (believing it is the new version) now after upgrading to 1.3.0 I am getting 500 Error. Any idea how to resolve it?

  3. Hello, I am struggling find translation for strings>  '20 Questions   0 Players' , I think they have been hardcoded.

    My bad, I wasnt able edit them via translating wizard, however managed to find them via string edit, apologies.

  4. Hello, I was surprised the first time i set up and ran the quiz, how little area is dedicated to the quiz itself compared to the animated countdown. I find it very disturbing, it is quite difficult to focus on the questions and answers if there are the huge animated digits blinking over 70% of the page. Is it something that could be optimized please.

  5. Similarly to my post in Classifieds thread 

    Would it be possible to think of reformatting the hook so that it is larger? Currently the thumbnails are very small which makes them illegible and further the formatted text around them has issues. (ideally they could have the same formatting as links stream within the application)

  6. Hello, Looking at the classifieds stream hook, I think it could be vastly improved in its appearance - easily by adopting the same style used in the application. Please refer to the attachment. I think the current hook has its thumbnails too small, and it generates problems with formatting. If the hook looked like the stream within the Classifieds application (attached) it would be much more interesting for the readers in my view.

    Further it seems there is some issue with the formatting of the currency, it shows various bold/regular font styles - which is not correct. The same is happening on the vertical hook.

  7. Hello,

    I am struggling with renewing ads which have expired, in one installation, the option is not there even if the category enables 30 days extension, in my other installation i see the option to renew, but after clicking renew ad, there is no action being taken. Any advise please?

  8. I would appreciate if each category could have an option of setting a specific currency. Our users are spread across the globe and they are selling their products among themselves in local currencies.

  9. Hello I have a suggestion - the current Feed Hook intended for use on the forums shows rather small thumbnails and the graphics gets slightly distorted, 

    Wouldn't it be better to format it the same way like you have it in the application? The larger thumbnails would match better with the text aligned underneath them.

  10. Hello, after the latest upgrade I have noticed that the thumb images first load in a 'stretched-kind-of-way' and after aroud 1/2 sec they fit into their desired locations and sizes. Is it only me having the problem, it is minor but still quite disturbing error.

  11. Hello, when sharing an URL of any of the the Links into forum posts, it would be good if a webpage snapshot  would be automatically added instead of the poster's photo. It would bring more attractivity to the content and likely hood one would click on it.

     

  12. I have noticed that when changing the advertiser of the post by admin, the posts created in forums are still showing the original arvertiser as authors of the posts. This should be ideally synchronized/update automatically.

    In the description - the icon needs to bear the custom mark symbol - which is perfectly fine the way it is but once you click on it, it is currently only a text, i think there could be some standard size logo or image filed. To give you an example of my intended use: I would like to make it attractive for the restaurants/shop owners/shools etc. to register and fill records about their business, the logo for them would be very important for their identity. It could stay optional at the same time. I am thinking of some custom fielding for them but I understand for many admins this is not required.

    After using the application for a couple of days now I am coming with some ideas/proposals:

    1. I would find useful to give the members to option to Save location of Custom markers (e.g. they could be saving interesting restaurants they have come across) this function should be available to members of certain member group only.

    2. It would be nice to have a list ( a legend) of Custom Marker categories (e.g. where we have the option to turn on/off Members at present) so that they could give members to turn them on or off - (in my case switch on restaurants and off Shops etc.) it would make the operation with the map very easy.

    3. Some basic stats would be nice too (this could be next to the custom markers)

    4. and some attractive hook/plugin to be positioned on the page would be a great feature too :)

    5. For custom markers it would be good to upload image (currently this is via html which is not that comfortable) - in my case logo of the shop owner

    .. just some ideas :)

     

  15. hello, I would have one suggestion, would it be worth thinking of having the markers clustering optional? I have only say 50 records in a map and when clustered they look like 5 - the map looks empty, while i would rather prefer to chose them all, to show there is activity on the map.

  16. Hello, would it be difficult to include Calendar Events in the Featured Content? It would be nice to have pulled the background images of Events with the basic event details into the hook. I love the application as it is and this improvement would be yet greater addition to my community.

  17. I've purchased the plugin hoping it would help me to copy topics from forums/forums to collabs/forums. unfortunately it can only copy topics from forums/forums to forums/forums or from collabs/forums to collabs/forums. Is there any way to go around it? I could see that there is a drop down menu listing the forums to copy to and that is where the problem is for me, if there was an option to enter a path or forum number I think the problem would be resolved, but I understand not everybody would be in need of this tweak. Any idea how to go around the current limitations please?

    I have a couple of questions:

    1. I would like to start using the Rules Application for synchronizing the Collab content with Forums and vice versa, so that each time users add topic to Collabs/forums they are copied to certain regular Forums/forums as well and vice  versa - Each time users contribute to certain Forums/Forums the topics are copied to dedicated Collabs/Forums. Is it possible?

    2. Is it possible for existing topics as well? So that I run an instruction to do the above for certain existing Forum/Forums and Collab/Forums?

  19. On second look, there is already a setting in the calendar app to choose which calendar view is shown by default. ACP -> Community -> Calendar -> Settings

    The current Events Stream doesn't work exactly same way I proposed, it shows only a stream of events for each selected  month. If the current month has no events but the next month 10 events it would show a blank page, I was proposing the calendar shows all upcoming events in the stream. I will try to discuss this suggestion with IP team as well to see whether they would find my proposal interesting for more users..

  20. After clicking on the Collabs calendar, would it be possible to adjust it in such a way that 'all upcoming events are listed in the overview mode' as I have sketched it below? Currently, when members open the calendar it often seems empty even though the events are saved for say the upcoming months. This way the members would have a clear overview of what events are being planned.

  21. There is also a bug in the calender system. If you create a calender, and you go to the calender screen and use add event like this:

    You get back to the calender of the main forums and not the GC. You must press the create event button.

     

    Has this been fixed please?
