I have made custom pages and blocks with stock widgets some of the forums are not there either...as for the backup I download a full backup from the server with sql database and it seems to go back to an older forum I am not sure what you are saying I need both filesystem and database and other dependencies which I assume is what I downloaded from my hosting server.

I have a problem when I upload my forums to the test folder of my server that all customization I have done with blocks and pages are not there what causes this and how do I fix it so all custom blocks and pages will show up on the test site? I am using 4.4.10

I noticed that using a backup from forums I upload to a localhost to see how it looks and it seems to loose all customized blocks and pages is there a way to use a backup and not loose these custom blocks and pages?

I was wondering if there is a way to put color in the background of a custom widget side bar block not all blocks just one block? I put image in see how the image doesn't fill the block I want to add background color is it possible and how ?

I remember years ago back on the old versions of IPB there was an app it was a spinning globe which told what countries everyone was located at when they were signed into the forums is there anything like that now.

Is there a way to add a custom Facebook link in nav bar I want to have it show a Facebook icon which when click it takes them to a Facebook page with all the forum content on the page to share either from Facebook or forum.

I have installed the beta to test the upload media in pages and how dose it exactly work and how do I link the upload to the video https://mydomain/upload/video.mp4 is this how its done?

I did not use the uploader because it has a 5mb limit and will not upload on version 4.4.10 but I check all settings again.

trying to add a video page but won't play mp4 videos I am using 4.4.10 but it does work on 4.5.0 as my testinstall.I am hosting the video on my server.

I have that selected and its still the same no new user can signup so I put a link in navabar and made a registration form which is working thanks for all the help.

I am not sure if registration is disabled and where do I turn it on because there is no button to register on any page just a sign in as a existing user and I did see you can post with your email and forces you to register but some guest might not even try to post.

I turned off forum posts for non members they can see the forums they just can't read or post the problem is they only have an option of contacting us or sign in as a member no place to register an account is there a fix for this so that they can register not contact I can't seem to figure out how the can register I would rather have a button where the contact us and sign in as a member buttons are i would rather have create an account button. or is there a setting i am not seeing? even on the navbar at the top says sign is as an existing member no place to register.

so your saying the block wont be there if I delete the announcement or disable it so when I create an announcement it automatically makes that block on sidebar. Thanks for the reply I will give it a shot Thanks again.

I used the create on the navbar to make a block on side bar called Announcements now I want to delete it and can not figure out where can anyone help?

Sorry I must be getting annoying asking all these questions but new to the board last one I owned was 3.4.7 and it was quite a while ago and its all different now trying to figure stuff out hoping someone could help with all my questions ...so here we go at the top of the forums there is a create which allows you to create announcements so I created one the question is why can members delete the announcement? because when a new member logs in he dose not see the announcement if a member clicks that x. there is nothing that allows you to allow users or members to edit or delete just who can see it unless there is a setting in admin which I can't seem to find hope someone can help thanks..
