  1. It's the widget I'm using Mike, I did manage to resolve the padding on my old theme but I had to edit a template to re-add spacing. I've slept since then and I don't recall exactly how I achieved it.

  2. How do you prevent groups from receiving the e-mails?

I had my first e-mail today and it sent to four people, I un-select 'Admin' etc, upon editing the department it's selected. I would like to only send e-mails to the desired e-mail address, yet I can't seem to disable the group(s) from receiving it.

    -Edit-

One of the e-mails is my fathers address, he's registered as a 'member' and the 'admin' group keeps being selected - yet he still received it without no permissions set for that group. Possible bug?

Also, when you reply it uses the senders e-mail. The default contact form uses the e-mail from the sender, can you change your app so it's the same? Otherwise I have to copy the e-mail and the person may not realise who it's from due to it being a new message.

  3. I'd go on a promoting spree if you did add it.

Though I really do think it would wear off for most people, only really benefiting large sites - whereas, yes it comes across as a bit of a gimmick but per topic really enables people to be creative. I really hope you do, I know your busy but it would be a must have for me.

  4. The current method I don't think would work for me, not that I don't see it's benefits but having it 'per topic' would enable me to encourage more activity from my community.

Example - I run a fan site, so having the match discussion 'Live' and perhaps highlighted as so - would be a great way to get people posting more. I think as it standards now, people wouldn't gather around the same topic and in turn end up not being as effective as I'd like. Having all topics update instantly would wear off with my audience I think, so I would certainly like the option per topic.

It would mean I can choose the best material to be live and for what amount of time, which would be great.

  5. Purchased @Adriano Faria.

I think there's an issue with my templates though, I don't see any changes. May I PM you please?

    -Edit-
The default skin doesn't see any changes, does this require the latest version?

  6. I need to show separate ad units (different one's).

Myself, I will be using the 'in-house' system. I have people who have paid me money, yet I would like to display.

    Banner 1
    Banner 2
    Banner 3

Currently it would only show just one.

  7. @Adriano Faria - when will the 4.1 update be live? Will it also re-order the layout exactly as depictured in your screenshot? (I'm just trying to make sure it isn't a mock up, as if it doesn't I may consider Newbies plugin also).

I think the departments on the contact form is much smarter rather than the menu.

    -Suggestion-

The old IP.Pages/Content used to include the users IP.Address (to the received e-mail) at the bottom.

I don't seem to see this in 4.0/4.1 - would you consider collecting the information, including the browser? Reason I ask, I can determine if someone is spamming me - also it's useful because I do receive some abusive messages.

There are many work What the goal? Display the same information differently

    Different information, different ad unit.

We could stick google in the top one, in-house beneath and another ad company at the bottom. I know many people mix, yet I hope to go all in-house soon enough, so having the ability to show different banners would be great.

  9. I mean separate ad units per allocated 'after x posts/topics'.

    Show after 1,12,19

    1 - Separate ad unit
    2 - Separate ad unit
    3 - separate ad unit

Of course some may prefer it to be a single unit as default.

Yet this could allow us to sell banner spaces or use ad companies which require different units per placement.

  10. Newbie,

Would you please add the ability to have separate ads per the amount you show after x.

I'd appreciate if you could add this ability also to the 'after x topics'. Basically if you enable 3 - the hook provides us the option to select either the same ad unit code or to choose which ad unit it pulls. If someone pays to have a banner placed or a different contextual ads company - having the ability to choose grants us more power however what we show. If some use adsense and another company, it will allow it to be possible.

If people have it setup to enable private 'insite' ads via banners it would be possible to avoid the same one showing.

I hope this makes sense. This would be a life saver for me :)

  11. @Mike John - How would I make it three columns instead of just the two? I'd like to have two sidebars, one left and the other right - with the main content within the centre.

Sorry, I've decided it's fine as it is. :)
