In order to keep up with needing newer PHP versions, my web host says they need to migrate me to a different server. However, they sent the following warning:

- The main PHP and MySQL/MariaDB versions the websites run on will be updated. Please confirm with your developer that there would not be an issue with newer versions of PHP and MySQL/MariaDB. Please keep in mind that newer operating systems may be limited on what PHP versions are available.

- Any modifications done to the server with root access or requested custom configurations will not carry over to the new server. If you need time to work through this with your developer, please let us know.

I count on Invision and my web host to keep me operations so could you let me know if you see any problem related to what they say? I've been a customer for over 20 years now and appreciate everything you do!

I'm working on getting that information from my webhost. I know they would move me to Alma Linux 8 and PHP 8.x will be available. I'm currently running version 4.5.4.2 but was trying to upgrade when I got a message that I needed a new version of PHP.
