My Sharona Posted November 14 Posted November 14 After todays episode of "forum maintenance", it seems some members are complaining of missing emojis. I have asked them to clear their browsers but upon looking myself, I see that there are a number missing. Browsers are cleared, as per the email that was sent however, this is consistent across both sites here.
Ryan Ashbrook Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I am not seeing this issue, currently - and wouldn't be related to the maintenance earlier. This appears to be newer emoji that are not supported on that device. Emoji are not static files (which is what the maintenance was pertaining to) but are actual characters.

Gary Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Hi @My Sharona, I made a post on another topic that brought this up over a year ago now. My Sharona 1

Your response and @Ryan Ashbrook's helped me with my emoji here. However, I'm not sure it helps with my members who are complaining that their emojis were there this morning but when the community experienced issues, they lost them and one member in particular says all they see now is a blue box with a question mark in it.
Jim M Posted November 15 Posted November 15 You may wish to ensure the user’s device is up to date. The device controls what emojis are represented visually so it would be up to the device display it.
