Nick Sadler Posted December 5, 2023 Author Posted December 5, 2023 If you do manage to get in, do you know how to clear the 1800 warning messages, its making navigating difficult!
Marc Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Until we can get in, I cant say what's actually causing that. I cant get into the ACP as its just refreshing the page at this point. I also seem unable to get onto your sftp that is provided. Please check those details
Nick Sadler Posted December 5, 2023 Author Posted December 5, 2023 It's so weird you can't get into ACP. I just logged in again. I'm using a Chrome browser. IT does take a 40 secs to log in, I thought that was due to the 1800 license messages that are in the ACP. I updated the password for SFTP for below address too ***removed***
Marc Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 I have removed those details. Never post details on the public forum for your own security I am getting this Status: Authenticating with public key "imported-openssh-key" Status: Server refused public-key signature despite accepting key! Status: Access denied Please have your hosting company check this Nick Sadler 1
Nick Sadler Posted December 5, 2023 Author Posted December 5, 2023 Thanks @Marc Stridgen I dropped them a line and they said: for the error above ensure that the public key you are using is correct and matches the corresponding private key on the server. here https://my.wpengine.com/profile/ssh_keys on your User Portal, Click <Your name> at the top right, Select SSH Keys and Click New SSH Key we've got a documentation here with more details about it https://wpengine.com/support/ssh-gateway/ Ive asked why I need to create a SSH key when I haven't in the past and its been working for the last 4 years
Jim M Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Unfortunately, we would not be able to utilize an SSH key. We would require password authentication. Nick Sadler 1
Nick Sadler Posted December 6, 2023 Author Posted December 6, 2023 OK, I'll spend more time with WPEngine support to try to resolve this.
