invisioncommunity.com login with email

Recommended Posts

On my 4.7.11.1 site, I only have email/display name enabled (no Facebook, Twitter, etc). We have a single account that 3 different people use to share admin duties. For example Adminer with a gmail account of Adminer@gmail.com. Then we each have our regular user accounts  Alvin, BillyB and Chis. On my site when I'm working as Alvin and logout and go back to the site ... I click on "existingUser?SignIn" I can then log in as Adminer. Logout and log back in as Alvin.

When I come here to invisioncommunity.com we created "group" account here using the Adminer@gmail account and then I have an account of my very own using my actual name like Alvin and my personal email account .... but when I logout of the Adminer and try to log in as Alvin... I don't get the prompt to put in my email and password... it just logs me back in as Adminer.  So I've been getting around that by just using a different browser to login here as Alvin. BUT now I'm ready to implement Facebook pass through auth for the rest of the users but Adminer doesn't have a Facebook account so that will still be email... I know that at least BillyB doesn't have a facebook account so how do you get around having Facebook auth working but allowing BillyB to login using email then logout and login as Adminer and then log out and log back in as BillyB.

I know convoluted right. Hopefully you can see what I'm trying to say.

You would have to log out of the client area, and the community. If you are still logged into the client area, it would log you back in. However I do need to make you aware that we do not allow the sharing of accounts (its actually against your TOS). We would also very much advise against doing that on your community. It would be better to just set up the individual users as administrators
