SUBRTX Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 (edited) Click Poster's name, go to their profile page, click -> click Posts I tested on two accounts in different group, both don't have permission to view future publish topics but yet I could see all the future publish topics from there? (Topic title, context, resource links) Although When I actually click the topic, I see this IPS VERSION v4.7.10 Edited June 21, 2023 by SUBRTX

Hey, just updated last night to 4.7.11. I'm still seeing the future publish topics.. Can the team investigate this? Thanks.
Nathan Explosion Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Reproducible. Log in as an account with permissions to future publish. Create a topic, do what is needed (no point in me going in to detail) Log out Log in as a normal user Go to the profile of the account used to post the topic Click 'See their activity' Click on 'Topics' Result: you don't see the topic....phew!! (image 1 below) Now click on 'Posts' Whoopsie!!! (image 2 below) SUBRTX 1
Jim M Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release. SUBRTX 1
Nathan Explosion Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 A bit of feedback on the above... I received an email titled "Re: Future publish topics can be seen" with the following content: Quote An email conversation was created on your behalf from your community post: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/474400-future-publish-topics-can-be-seen/?do=findComment&comment=2945665 You can reply to this email for updates or to add more information. -- Charles Warner Invision Community Support Community Support Forum | Platform Status I am assuming that this is because a ticket might have been opened for the above report, but I am guessing on that because there isn't anything in this topic or the email to explain why I received the email. More detail, the better.
Nathan Explosion Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) Then follow it up as such? Note: this is my third attempt posting this, in case it appears multiple times (possible PWA issue, we'll see) Edited June 23, 2023 by Nathan Explosion

While we do usually say that we have created a ticket, it does actually tell you on the email there what has happened
Nathan Explosion Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 OK, I'll bite.. 3 minutes ago, Marc Stridgen said: Im not sure I understand what you would like us to follow up there? I'm not expecting anything - I never do. 3 minutes ago, Marc Stridgen said: While we do usually say that we have created a ticket Which "you" didn't on this occasion hence me raising my confusion here... 4 minutes ago, Marc Stridgen said: it does actually tell you on the email there what has happened Nope, all it says is that that an email conversation has been started - with no actual conversation in it. On 6/23/2023 at 8:30 PM, Jim M said: Can ignore that. It was sent in error. Ah, there's the bit that explains things...and if it had been sent in a follow-up email then all confusion would have been cleared up. Now, if you are referring to this in my reply as causing your own confusion: On 6/23/2023 at 8:39 PM, Nathan Explosion said: Note: this is my third attempt posting this, in case it appears multiple times (possible PWA issue, we'll see) I posted my comment twice previously, via the PWA - it appeared briefly, then disappeared. I then posted it a third via a browser, with the added note, and it remained. Hence my comment.
