Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Shturman Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Hello, I currently have the issue that since some days or weeks the usergroup "Members" cant do any post in any section. I checked the permissions of the sections and user group and they are fine (create new or post). When I visit the creation link for example segfsge/?do=add I get an The page you are trying to access is not available for your account. error On the Error Log it shows: 2C137/3The page you are trying to access is not available for your account.
Shturman Posted June 7, 2023 Author Posted June 7, 2023 Actually, no group except admins can make a post.
Jim M Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.

Solution Jim M Posted June 7, 2023 Solution Posted June 7, 2023 Looked at a few forums and most have a requirement of 1 post to create content. Any users who do not have that content count would be denied the ability to create topics or reply to a topic. Shturman and SeNioR- 2
Shturman Posted June 7, 2023 Author Posted June 7, 2023 Oh damn, I looked at all permissions & pages but didnt notice the minimum content count to post which was set because of spammers. Thank you that solved the issue.
Adriano Faria Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 The error message “The page you are trying to access is not available for your account” is totally bizarre and doesn’t indicate the restriction. That’s not a permission issue. Not sure how this work, Jim, but you could open an internal suggestion or something to change the error.

They don’t have the post counts to post so the message indeed is accurate when they are attempting to do something the UI is not letting them do (i.e. manually typing in a URL they don't have access to) 🙂 . However, if you have a suggestion to change that, you’re more than welcome to leave it in our Feedback forum.
