The Old Man Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 (edited) Hi, I can't seem to locate the option to delete all articles/records from a Pages Database except for 1 at a time. I have a DB with over 400 records. Er, little help? 😁 Many thanks! Edited May 17, 2023 by The Old Man
Solution Jim M Posted May 17, 2023 Solution Posted May 17, 2023 If the database has categories and you only want to delete 1 category, you can use the move/delete option when managing categories. Otherwise, if you want to delete all records form it, just delete the database 🙂 .
The Old Man Posted May 17, 2023 Author Posted May 17, 2023 Thanks Jim, no categories unfortunately, so will delete the entire database. Seems odd but no biggie.
Jim M Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 You can revert to an unmodified template and view the record listings to multi-select each record, like you can topics in a forum. Just not as efficient as deleting the category or whole database. Adlago 1
The Old Man Posted May 17, 2023 Author Posted May 17, 2023 Aha, many thanks, that did the trick. I was using the Supergrid templates, I switched back to the standard default template and the options appeared as per your image.
The Old Man Posted May 17, 2023 Author Posted May 17, 2023 Actually, it may be because I was not using categories originally for this particular DB.
Marc Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Glad to hear you have the answer you need in any case there The Old Man 1
