Product Price Issue shows as Free after upgrading to 4.7.9

When on the product page, the product shows as Free, but when browsing the category, it shows the price. I tried disabling all plugins, and the issue remains.

I found a temporary fix and modified the core files. The issue does seem to be with IPS.

In method: IPS\nexus\Package::fullPriceInfoFromData (Line 798), index: renewalPrice returns the string value "Free" instead of NULL in case the product does not have renewal options.

I’m just seeing this. All my products are shown as free. 😱 I hope IPS can push out a patch quickly. Very bad for business and bad in regards to the customer’s trust.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary.

To clarify for anyone else reading this: this does appear limited to a display issue, the products aren't actually free.

A fix is now available for this issue in new downloads of 4.7.9 and for those already on 4.7.9, it can be obtained from the AdminCP > support page in the top left box.
