D-Trox Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Hi i add a app to connect with discord. After a update i'm not enable to connect to adminCP because i receive a error from the app. So i cannot go enable , disable or re-install the app. is that a way to bypass this OR to re-enable the standard connection methode (mail / password) ? mayby just in changing a value into X_NAMED file ? thank you
Jim M Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 You will want to contact the author for assistance or try recovery mode here: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/client-services/getting-support-r292/#recoverymode
D-Trox Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 i do this but it will not disabling the 3rd party conection , so i'm still stock. i simply add a constants.php file in the main directory. i saw that all the user interface as changed , but yeah , still not able to connect and do not saw the progress recovery bar
D-Trox Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 Is there a place I can simply change a variable to re-enable the choice to log in with an email and password? Once that is re-enabled, I will be able to log in and reinstall the 3rd party connection thank you
Marc Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 As mentioned by my colleague, you would need to contact the author to do this on your behalf if you are having isuses there
D-Trox Posted November 17, 2022 Author Posted November 17, 2022 I understand, I dot , i will let a response time but if i have no response , what can i do , what will be the next step ? Thank you
Randy Calvert Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 This is hard to respond to. IPS does not support directly making changes to the database. If you disabled the default login module and if you only have a third party login module available as login method instead of any of the default ones provided by IPS, there is not a lot that can be done outside of working with the resource provider. Even if you switched back to a default login method you would not have a valid local user account available to login with.
Marc Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 If this becomes the case, please let us know 10 hours ago, Randy Calvert said: Even if you switched back to a default login method you would not have a valid local user account available to login with. There would have had to have been at least one, in order to add the application 😉
