DoorMadeEasy Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 Hello My Invision Community v4.5.4.2 and im trying to upgrade it to the lasted new version and im getting this error
teraßyte Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 One of your database tables (core_edit_history) is crashed and needs to be repaired. Possibly you might have even more tables in the same situation. You can try repairing the tables yourself from phpMyAdmin (or a similar tool) or contact your hosting about it if you don't know how to do it.
DoorMadeEasy Posted September 23, 2022 Author Posted September 23, 2022 i dont no how it get crashed but i would like to fix it by myself is there any article will show me how to do this ?
DoorMadeEasy Posted September 23, 2022 Author Posted September 23, 2022 i go to phpmyadmin but i dont no what i should do there ?
Randy Calvert Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 If you don't know what you're doing, I would highly suggest reaching out to your host for assistance. If you do something incorrectly, you could break your site to the point where you have to restore from backup. You're literally playing around with the "guts" of your site. With that said, there are tons of guides out there. Just hit up Google for "phpmyadmin repair table". You'll get results like: https://www.servercake.blog/how-to-optimize-and-repair-tables-using-phpmyadmin/ teraßyte and SeNioR- 1 1
DoorMadeEasy Posted September 24, 2022 Author Posted September 24, 2022 my host are not responsible according to them and they dont have any one experince to upgrade or fix this issue in ipb im still looking for help i try to fallow the link to repair but still dont fix anything ?
Randy Calvert Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Then I suggest finding a new host. This is not a software problem. The error is reporting the MySQL table is damaged and needs to be repaired. This is something we can’t help you with. You either need to fix it yourself or have your hosting provider do it.
